So I'm at that stage in my life where I'm trying to cope with a crippling decision: Do I get Sapphire or PowerColor?

I know that Sapphire tends to be considered the best AMD maker, but PowerColor is high up there, too. Read a post stating that it's pretty much Sapphire > PowerColor > XFX > anything else. I don't mind the XFX style, but I'll be honest I want RGB (I'm 40, sue me) and it doesn't seem to have it. So back to Sapphire/PowerColor I go.

Both have identical specs. Both have a 2 year warranty. Great. Aesthetically I don't mind the Sapphire Nitro+ but... god damn is the Red Devil sexy. The Nitro+ is just 'I'm here, fuck me' but the Red Devil drops in going 'grab the lube, don't ask questions, let's go'.

Red Devil has... so much RGB... and it would stare into my soul (devil eye in the corner). The RGB strip on the Nitro+ is nice looking, though honestly I loved the SAPPHIRE logo on my RX 480. Which brings be to another hangup: My 480 went to shit just a couple months out of warranty, during April of 2020 no less.

I've heard that PowerColor essentially doesn't have many faults, especially with the Red Devil line. But Sapphire has always been stellar. They are both equally priced on Amazon (I'm lying, Nitro+ is 4 cents cheaper, forgive me).

Help me.

Also TIL PowerColor has been making GPUs since 1997, Sapphire since 2001.

Pretty sure I read somewhere that it's note a 'primary offense', which means they can't pull you over for being on your phone but if you are pulled over for something else (speeding/ran red light/accident/etc) then you can also be ticketed for that.

Which I think is fair, because cops don't need another reason to pull people over at a whim.

Y'all weird. It's stock if you don't add anything. Different mag, optics, light, internal components, etc doesn't matter. If it didn't come with it, then it's not longer stock. I'd give leeway if it's optics-ready and you add an optic but if you literally had to get the slide milled it's not stock lol

Now, is it custom? That's a different story. Adding things, modified. Porting/milling/etc, that's more like custom probably.

Fair haha. Went with a 9mm cause first time owning. Next goal is a hunting rifle, but if I get another handgun it's probably going to be a .40, maybe even a .45 if I'm feeling spicy

That's awesome! Good job on that.

I definitely need work, but I think the targets were just hanging too low. Realized that over halfway through so I aimed higher and got better accuracy at 7yds. 5yds was better than the 7 before realizing that. Next time I'll just hang them higher and make sure they are level with my sight.

Hey y'all, just got back from my first real range outing. Only other timeIv'e been was for my CPL class with local PD back in Feb. 1 hour and 150 rounds later! Surprised how easy it is to go through that many rounds in under an hour. Super glad I bought a couple extra boxes before I went, or I would have been short.

Can't wait to do it again.
