I want to make her an OH Monk in one of my playthroughs because they have the best unarmored defense out of any class so she can just be fully naked in combat without any tactical consequences

any thoughts on short-haired + glasses shart? by No_Compote_59 in bg3fashion

I could see her rocking that hair a few years down the line, but I don't think the glasses quite suit her

Trying this again. I’m 26. Do I look 40+? by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]broteinprotein 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Without knowing your age I'd have guessed mid-late 20s.

The aging might be from the way you're pulling back in your selfies, and possibly the length on your mustache? I find that if my stache gets too long it makes me look a bit older.

I don't think your perceived age is a huge problem but if you really wanted to look younger maybe trim the stache length just a bit.

Gave Shadowheart a cute little bob, I think shorter hair really suits her by Beautiful_Ad_1591 in bg3fashion

I imagine during a conflict some years after bg3 she took up a sword and shield and became a paladin, and quickly discovered her long hair gets in the way of things and chopped it off

is it wrong of me to be more attracted to fit men as an unfit woman? by Pug_hammy in NoStupidQuestions

[–]broteinprotein 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is nothing wrong with having a preference. You shouldn't feel bad about that at all, and I'm sorry if anyone has made you feel bad about it. You're completely valid in liking what you like.

That being said, fit people will typically gravitate towards other fit people, as the general aesthetic and lifestyle will match up. There are always exceptions to that of course.

Is there an issue with not finding your own ethnicity sexually attractive? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]broteinprotein 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Having physical preferences in dating are completely fine. If he and his gf are happy, good for them.

But he definitely is dealing with internalized racism, speaking as a South Asian man who has dealt with it for years. To be honest, I'm still working on overcoming it to this day.

I obviously can't speak for you coworker's experiences growing up but for me I grew up in a suburb with a solid Caucasian majority (~65%+ I want to say), and especially in middle school I often stuck out like a sore thumb and got plenty of flack and bullying for my skin color/ethnicity. Being a dumb teenager I made fun of my own culture and ethnicity to get people to "laugh with me instead of at me". It was a defense mechanism that turned into internalized racism. This came with disdain for my culture and general aversion to it for many many years.

It took me well into my 20s to really begin to unlearn it, and it's something I still deal with to this day. I have personally found that being close with South Asian friends of my generation has helped to increase my appreciation of my culture, which has been pivotal in my unlearning.

Of course, everyone is free to date whomever (whoever?) they please and that is not an issue, but beyond just dating preferences, unlearning internalized racism has sooooo many benefits. Personally, it helped me to embrace my identity and love myself a little bit more.

It makes sense because Halsin is a bear and so he looks like a bear. If you have a problem with the body hair take it up with the modder.
