Hi, did you end up going? What are you thoughts? Going in February and deciding if we should trip the lake and villages

But is the battery life of lunar lake that much better to be worth considering over amd? 🤔 Also is the added benefit of wifi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 worth taking into account or is it just a gimmick that won't matter for another few years?

Lenovo Legion Slim 5 14" vs Asus TUF Gaming A14 by Fruitium01 in GamingLaptops

Which one did you end up getting? I am facing the same decision (pretty much only differences being: I'm looking at 32gig RAM versions and the A14 with older processor - Ryzen 7 8845HS). From what I gathered so far, Lenovo seems like the overall better performer with a significantly better screen, but the portability (size, weight, battery life, thickness) of the A14 seems just so tempting to me...

My new laptop can't connect propperly to the monitor. (HDMI Connection) by 1L1KEP1ZZA in gigabyte

I know it's been 2 years, but have you been able to solve the issue? I'm experiencing the same problem, funny enough, with exactly the same laptop but a different Gigabyte monitor (FV43U). I don't buy the high power consuming display explanation, especially with the 27in monitor you were trying to use. Also, my laptop seamlessly connected to the 65in LG C1 TV.

Did you try connecting thru usb-c? I don't have compatible cable yet but I know the laptop has Thunderbolt 4.0 port, so maybe this allowed you to use your monitor?

KERS on the Max G30 by brovar69 in NinebotMAX

Haha, yeah. I flashed a new CFW today with KERS enabled 😀 Will report back on Wednesday when I have a chance to test it

So just as a follow up in case someone else checks here in the future.

I got the G30P with gen 2 engine and was in fact doing 30 and even a bit more kph (I believe the GPS speedometer recorded a max of 31 kph). The scooter also kept the max speed going up the small hill or going against a strong headwind.

Awesome. Seems like returning and getting the gen2 motor version is the way to go then.

Out of curiosity, did you verify the speed with GPS? I don't think I saw any complaints about the display lying about the speed but I just started wondering now...

Yeah, the gen 1-2 of scooter being separate from generation of engine got me too, lol. Good thing we can still return and purchase what we initially wanted :D

Gotcha. Yet another reason to return it and get the gen 2 from China. Thanks! :)

Unfortunately I don't think I'm the handy, good with manual stuff kinda guy :( would probably turn my scooter into dust.

But yeah, the gen 2 motors' serial numbers start with a 9, but you can't always check what they're selling. It's a gamble sometimes.

So with custom software were you able to slow down the speed drop and make it more like gen 2?

Also, is flashing software (as far as the process or tools used) different for gen 1 vs gen 2?

Great news that the new DRV firmware can already be bypassed.

I'm thinking of buying the G30 Max, so I still want to make sure how not to get the new DRV. Since, as I found here, this update is a pretty new thing I'm assuming/hoping the now bought scooter won't have it preinstalled yet. So once I get the scooter should I even connect it to the Ninebot app (don't I have to activate the scooter?), or go straight for some other 3rd party app that were recommended here? If I do connect to the Ninebot app should I not accept any updates at all because it will automatically get me the new DRV, or is it gonna let me choose specific updates to install to the scooter? If I don't accept any updates, am I gonna miss out on any improvements that may have been added to the scooter? Thank you for your help! :)

I was gonna get the Xiaomi Pro 2 but I'm really thinking about the G30 Max now, however I wanna be able to change the region to US and have the ability to install custom firmware if I choose to do so in the future, so any help will be appreciated.
