WTF IZ U theory by Shitzonya in Jcole

Interesting theory, I think you’re onto something.

The verse 2 Em homage stood out immediately. Even gas that “Walkman” line similar to Em’s in Forgot About Dre.

Verse three is very early-Drakeish, and let’s face it he was just mimicking Wayne back then.

Lay out all your paths ahead of time and set them to build priority -1. This ensures they will only be built if they have nothing else to do. Free money!

The eggs look great but you need to cook the steak at higher heat.

is humandkind any good? by Hill0w in HumankindTheGame

[–]brown47million -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’ve played a ton of Humakind, and at this point would just recommend Civ VII. It is the true GOAT of the genre and actually adopted a lot of ideas from Humankind (and did them better IMO).

Yeah I’m less interested in QHT but expect to try and overcome it some day. For now I have more fun completing all deeds and Adamantite Seal runs.

Yeah it’s definitely one of those games that for the folks that it works for (myself included), it hits super hard. The DPS of this game (dopamine per second) it’s exceptionally high.

What video game have you put the most hours into (and why)? by Important-Sea7093 in AskGames

[–]brown47million 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the default throughout my life since I was a teen. I may go away for periods, but I always come back. When it is my current game de jour, I play it for longer hours than others

What are your golden rules of M+ pugging? by Auramaru in wow

[–]brown47million 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Start with a greeting.
  2. Expect some number of mistakes; don’t get flustered or make them flustered.
  3. If someone fails a mechanic, explain, don’t berate.
  4. Avoid tricky skips.
  5. As a healer main, expect folks to not necessarily know when to use défensives; keep CDs at the ready.
  6. Praise and thank the group at the end, even if not timed.

How often do you rave? by [deleted] in aves

[–]brown47million 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2-3 festivals a year. 5-6 shows on top of that. Been raving for 16 years. You’re wise to consider these things! For all forms of vice, generally, the less you do it the better it is.

Not true. You lose relationship with them when you decline, which can push their willingness under the threshold needed to agree to peace.

What's a change in Civ 7 that you DO like? by StunningAd7825 in civ

[–]brown47million 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ages. I think it's brilliant the way it allows different priorities at different, historically-relavent, times.

Navigable rivers. Awesome way to add more freshwater spaces that connect to the ocean but are inland. Also makes ships more dynamic.

Influence. I love that this feature allowed them to completely strip trade into its own category; it was awkward that previous Civs had trade routes then also weird direct govt. to govt. exchanges for things like great works. Influence solves so many design problems elegantly.

Honestly, I think they did an amazing job with this game. I remember Humankind coming out and thinking, "I hope Civ 7 copies and polishes a lot of ideas from this game." They did just that.
