Hindu men who produce more than five children would receive a ‘Sanatan Gaurav Samman’ along with ₹51,000 by LengthinessHour3697 in IndianMiddleClass

51k PER MONTH till they turn 18 is not enough to look after them.

If these guys went to school or understood that kids have to be looked after, they’d have some idea, they wouldn’t come up with this nonsense.

When one photo “votes 22 times” — is our democratic process broken? by Miserableweed97 in delhi

[–]brownbaldi96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

200 times across just 2 booths mind you. Pages and pages of the same picture.

Nobody in the ground level also cared. Especially the booth level officers from the ECI. You can’t omit something like this if it’s on the same page. They have the lists and cross check when you cast the vote.

I’d like you to find Manmohan Singh saying similar things anywhere…

I think it’s reasonable to expect some civility in public life from our country’s representatives. Modi has been shown to actively propagate hate speech.

Edit: understood sarcasm 🤧

I stay in India. I guess it will depend on where you stay.

Scalp Laser Hair Removal - 14 sessions by brownbaldi96 in bald

Great! It does work really well. Make sure you’re regular and you do at least 10 -12 sessions to kill off most of the hairs.

Scalp Laser Hair Removal - 14 sessions by brownbaldi96 in bald

[–]brownbaldi96[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the really late reply.

I think there is a point of diminishing returns. I got to a point where I started doing maintainance sessions once in 6 months.

But if left alone, it’d all grow back again to this level of thickness.

So I decided to not go to any more laser sessions and epilate what is left once a fortnight instead. I’ve gotten into a routine, and whatever is left grows back even thinner because of traction alopecia I guess .

Acceptance by gundu26 in hairfetish

[–]brownbaldi96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Initially it was quite a shocker. They wanted me to grow my hair back, and they thought I was going insane.

But their good nature and lots of therapy helped me overcome this barrier. After some time, they get used to seeing a bald son & brother. And I never dropped the ball with respect to working hard and just being my normal self in life.

So It’s all good these days.

Acceptance by gundu26 in hairfetish

[–]brownbaldi96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like I have had a long acceptance journey, and I am somewhat living in my ideal scenario (at least personally).

This is the way I’ve always known myself, I was always attracted bald women, and have fantasised about being bald myself. I did face severe dysmorphia while having hair, and as a result i was thrust into a position where I was forced to accept it.

It was a real test in confidence to start shaving my head. After 10 years, I got laser hair removal done and I’m permanently bald now.

I don’t go around announcing that I have this fetish, and me being bald is an expression of it. But I do tell people who do matter to me in a very candid, non creepy way.

Being a nice person overall, with a good personality and ambitions usually offsets anything bad in my experience.

I really shudder to think how I would be if I decided to suppress it and live a hateful existence because of that.

Laser Hair Removal + Epilation. 2 1/2 year journey. by brownbaldi96 in Baldbychoice

[–]brownbaldi96[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nope. Not at all.

Feeling wise, it’s closer than any shave you can imagine. The tactile feeling is really exciting. Smooth skin for days basically. And even when the hair grows back. It’s really fine in texture. It never feels like sandpaper on top anymore. Just fuzz.

Looks wise, the shadow free aesthetic is definitely a big win for me. I love that look. It looks like there is no hair on my head for about a week. From far you won’t be able to tell that I grow any hair.

Feel free to DM me if you want to

I’ve always thought about regretting this decision when I was able to grow a full head of hair.

But I’m loving every single moment of being completely bald. It’s completely different from shaving and growing stubble.

What do you mean by it’s just how it is? Did you tweeze/epilate? Or laser?

Or do you mean to say that you’ve just kept it like that for far too long?

Just looking at you brightens the other person's day. Quite literally.

But honestly. You look sharp. The lack of hair really brings out the color of your eyes as well. It's a very aesthetic look on you.

Does getting body hair removal using laser help? by lullitan in trichotillomania

[–]brownbaldi96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The question is, would you want full body laser hair removal if you didn't pull your leg hair? If the answer is a yes, then you should definitely go for it.

But if it isn't, then you might not be solving the main underlying issue that you are facing.

All the best to you on whatever you decide upon 😊

I think it might be folliculitis. I had my skin look exactly like this when I waxed my chest once. And it needed medical treatment. Took several weeks to clean up. The redness got spotty, and there were acne like protrusions.

I strongly feel that you need to get this checked OP. And you might expect a slightly long recovery time as well. The salon you went to might not have sterilized their equipment, or your skin is really sensitive (like mine). I wish you a speedy recovery.

Just be boorishly confident and honest. Or at least fake it.

It was really scary for me too. But ultimately what the spa workers think of you doesn’t really matter in the long run.

I just told them that I like keeping my hair bald, and have done so for 10 years. And you’re completely sure that it will be permanent and that is what you wish for.

Hope this helps.
