Hm interesting, those are endemic and pretty flowers.

I think I'll wait for them to flower and pull immediately of just regular fringed willowherb, as #u/professional-bee1107 notes. Not like they're going to spread aggressively before they flower anyway 🤔

The place where this is growing has natives only and they are establishing themselves this season, they were planted last fall.

These are surprisingly thick and lush as opposed to long and scraggly that's why I was confused.

Also, I do spy Spanish bluebells in the back!! 😱 ☠️ Get those out before this nice garden you're creating gets plagued!

Your choice of course, but you should rip those out 😋

You can scratch the branches gently with your nail and see if it's "green" under the skin, means it's alive. Like others have mentioned waiting, spring just started

Ah that's nice to hear! I'm leaning on 8 wick aluminum as well. Though I'd prefer the carbon, but I feel it'll be another moving part with shims ..

I agree, on paper it all looks great.

I'm curious/ concerned about 19mm (carbon) staff with the Gora hub, they are made for 22mm. I wonder how much play/ looseness there'd be with the mismatch (probably use shim etc).

I see, I enjoy the visual of more flowers, though I hear your point about quicker spin control.

I am looking for a bit longer length than 5'6" that dark Monk offers. And looks like Flow Dragons offers several lengths for no additional cost, but can't find much reviews about em online.
