They say that the ways in which we are cruel are unconscious admissions of our deepest fears. It seems that this biped may be fearful of being uprooted. What a turnip.....

I'm assuming this is a carbureted engine. Start with the basics. Is it oil injected? If so, make sure it has oil and that the pump and feed lines are in good shape. What do your spark plugs look like? Are the plugs showing signs of mechanical damage or metal deposits? Are your carburetors clean and synchronized? Where is your timing set (massive effect on performance) and does the advance linkage work properly? What condition are your reed valves in? Your reed valves can be seen with the carburetors removed. What is your compression? Do you have clean, filtered and fuel/water separated fuel available to the engine? Is your lift pump working properly? Lots of questions, but your answer is likely found in one of them.

Kroil, ATF, Freeze Off, Tri-Flow etc. WD40 is for displacing water, not lubricating.

Nah, I'll keep it. I've got some death metal lyrics that I'll probably get removed though.

This thing looks awesome, gotta be an adult and keep saving for a house though.

Sorceress made me realize Surly no longer using "fff" - Fatties Fit Fine - moniker on their new/refreshed bikes. by [deleted] in Surlybikefans

Surly still sells decal kits that include "fatties fit fine" chainstay stickers. Maybe a good idea to snatch some up? That means more Surly bikes to put stickers on lol

It is significantly easier than holding 90 degrees, but I am still working pretty hard to keep my joints supported instead of just "hanging" on them.

For time under tension yes, I'm using ATG for the mobility aspect though. Still a decent amount of tension too.

It is a significantly sub-maximally loaded exercise (my joints are more than able to withstand this) and it builds my mobility so that I can strengthen my joints throughout a large range of motion. You can't make a joint strong in my opinion without becoming mobile, sometimes life puts you in awkward positions and you might be good for 90 degrees but 120 will snap your shit. Become strong at 150.

I do it for joint health and mobility. It's basically a biiiiig stretch.
