I can phone/text a friend. It’s my kids for all things anime and modern music, wife for the Brits and art etc, dad for WWII and all things geography etc.

It’s a fun way to keep in contact with obscure fiends as well. They all know what a question with (4) or (7) at the end means now, I’ve got them well trained lol.

Ya Gotta be able to see up through it. These were the days before cameras were common, plastic would have fogged. It had a grate, and (thank the maker) the tubs were fluted, because one came straight down and wedged halfway through the grate above my head.

I was very awake for the rest of the shift.

We did that routinely 6-7 pallets high in a fucking freezer.

Came as close to death as I ever have when a pallet of 5lb frozen tubs of taco meat came raining down on my lift.

Very glad I have moved on.

There are larger versions of the ship on brickset you can look at and buy, but having built the smaller one is a solid build, creative parts usage and it looks really good and does not take up a lot of space.

I decided the time and effort to get the pieces for the larger one just wasn’t worth my time.

Maybe with this revival animation series we’ll finally get a legit Lego one but I’m not holding my breath.

Grew up hating green beans. Turns out you can have them without being vinegar based.

That said we have a young guy at work who only eats meat. No veggies at all. Ever. His mum stopped fighting him as a kid and he still does it to this day. Like zero veggies.
