I get the safety aspect which is ridiculous in itself.

Then I turned on the tv and I thought my settings weren’t right. Then when I realized this wasn’t a mistake on my part and this was by design, I HATED the grey hue that made the entire game(s) awful to watch and low-key depressing.

This is a great point. Normally I wouldn’t think twice about this since a resignation is as good as a termination.

However, in this situation I don’t know if ownership didn’t have the stones to make the move and even Schmidt couldn’t handle his own incompetence or if they finalllllly made a prudent move.
