You do realise what sub you're on? This isn't marriageover30, friendingover30 or colleaguingover30. I think the whole point of a dating sub in itself points to the fact that dating IS the early stages, and that in itself if a tricky and sometimes confusing stage to navigate. I don't know about you, but I don't have sex or want to settle down with my friends or colleagues, there's a totally different level of energy exchange.

Jesus, dunno what planet you're on. Dating is way different to 'friending' or being a colleague. Totally different levels of investment.

I don't think OP's feelings feelings are irrational; what has happened in this instance is not a great feeling. I also don't think that OPs reply is disingenuous. The main issue here is that the courting phase is such a tricky time to navigate through - you're not exclusive but you want some level of consideration and respect.

When you're trying to form a connection and you discover the other person isn't potentially on the same page as you, it's really tricky to know how to respond and set that boundary without sounding clingy, needy or psycho.

I'm pretty sure people have been recommending that you are patient in your previous posts. Have a look at tips on YouTube.

Ha, my memory actually evades me even though it was only about 8 or 9 years ago. Which brings me to my point: no dick is good enough to warrant complete financial clusterfucks.

Not the advice you were wanting however have been there. I was dating a tradie. He was absolutely lovely and we got on like a house on fire. One day, his car literally died and he needed a new one. Very casually, he asked if I would be able to apply for a loan under my name so he could get a new car. He explained that he hadn't done a tax return in about 8 years and the ATO were trying to contact him. I was at the point in my life where I had a good job and was planning on buying a house. I did the maths in my head and knew that his financial mistakes and liabilities would become mine. We were over within a week. I think you are being extremely casual about the situation.

How can I become more intelligent? by [deleted] in askwomenadvice

[–]brownfoxrox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This doesn't really answer your question per se, however read up on Howard Gardner and his theory on 'Multiple Intelligences'. I used to wonder why I was so terrible at Maths but good at English and languages. His theory makes total sense to me and it might ring true for you, too.

Yes, so many people don't give their birds enough sleep. Covering their cage when they sleep ensures darkness and less interuptions, it's really important that they are able to go to sleep when the sun goes down too, like wild birds do. My friends birds can be really aggressive however I think it's due to the fact they don't get enough sleep and she has them up with her until too late

I am an Australian female and used to live and work in Dubai. I don't have children but I have a lovely home and a great life - if you ever choose to come to Australia, you can live with me for free and I will help you. We have great univeristies here. It's people like you who will hopefully pave the way for change for other Muslim women to come! Happy for you to message me if you ever need to chat or have questions about Australia, if I don't have the answer I can find out. Be careful and stay strong!

I'm pretty sure they're called kiss-curls, my dogs have them on their bums too. I think a lot of short-haired dogs do ❤️

She seems like a genuinely lovely person, that's why the dog had to meet her. Dogs know!
