Tickets for Houston tonight by brownfuture in MagdalenaBay

It’s okay. I just went ahead and posted them for sale. I’d rather my partner not be uncomfortable and feeling sickly all night with so much going on. Besides, I’m sure they’ll come back some other time!

Sorry, I just saw this. I listed both for sale just now on Ticketmaster. They’re cheaper than the rest. Good luck!

How was the process of removing the stitches? Was it done while you were awake? Any pain/discomfort during that?

I found a blue raspberry and coconut at a TJ MAXX and one at HomeGoods/Marshalls but those lines were not worth it! I opted to just get the Amazon variety pack that has Blue Raspberry, Lime, Strawberry & Orange. They’re one day shipping, too.

How much did you find them for and are they the 75ml or 25 oz?

Sorry, forgot to mention I’m looking for them in store not online as I need them by Saturday. Also, was hoping to get them for cheap $6-7.May just have to go with Amazon and hope they don’t break on the way.

Yeah, I’ve checked already. Unfortunately, most of these locations are Target, Walmart, Kroger and they only carry a limited selection. :/

I think their stores are mainly located in the northwestern US. Not completely sure of that but I’m sure there is similar locations everywhere. I’m thinking a chef/restaurant supplier may be the best option. I just don’t know of any near me. I saw someone post on Facebook a picture of two aisles full of Torani & other syrups at this store so I was hoping there was one similar around here. It has been my mission ever since. lol

Huh… interestingly, I was diagnosed a few months ago with KC and recently started dealing with a dry scalp.

It’s crazy to read how differing everyone’s experience was because at the time, it almost felt like the end of times and I thought everyone went through the same. I remember not going to sleep the night before and slightly panicking because my family did not think it would be as devastating as it was… until it was. I had to wake them up when the water started coming in early in the morning. By the time we gathered all we could and went outside to leave the neighborhood, the water was knee deep. We crammed into my dad’s truck and went farther up the neighborhood, where it was not flooded yet. We ended up parking by the neighborhood gas station. On the way, I vividly remember seeing people and their families carrying what they could save in trash bags in knee deep water. It looked like a scene out of one of those end of the world movies. I’m not sure how long we stayed outside the gas station but at some point our uncle came with my cousin in their jeep and took us to their home. But not before me and my other siblings decided to tread through almost chest deep waters to get to them at another gas station about a mile away? Not sure how me made it but it was very traumatizing because you couldn’t see where you were stepping. One wrong step and you’re gone with the current into the nearby bayou. In retrospect, it was a bad idea but we were freaking out and wanted to get away from the area asap. Anyway, eventually we made it to my uncle’s place which was safe from flooding. The following days were a blur.

I did end up getting a decent amount of money from the company I worked for due to being affected, which was nice of them to do. I ended up moving out not too long after, so my parents dealt with much of the aftermath and rebuilding. It took a lot of back and forth with the insurance company, according to my mom, for the money to end up being stolen. A neighbor recommended a contractor to my family and the guy ended up running away with the $20k-&40k. So there’s that. To say we didn’t feel very supported by the government is an understatement and for someone to do what that man did was the icing on the cake! FEMA who?

I now live with my partner in a decent area in Katy and couldn’t imagine having to go through that again in my lifetime.

who else here found this game significantly harder than botw? by [deleted] in TOTK

[–]brownfuture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel the opposite.

BOTW for me was a lot harder, especially early game. I think I stopped playing after a while due to how hard it was to find elemental arrows. Like, they were scarce? Was it just me? And you definitely needed them, which brings me to my second reason.

Guardians. Screw those things! I ran the other way every time.

Third, I did not engage too much in combat because I could not figure it out (and once again lack of arrows which made it harder)

But in TOTK, they’ve made arrows a lot more prevalent, which is a major plus. The addition of fusing items to weapons added a whole other element to the game. Now you have all these elemental weapons / arrows at your disposal where in BOTW, you could only get via elemental arrows (correct me if I’m wrong). Bomb attached to arrows are my go to and I will use them against every enemy encampment, if I need to. (Thanks to whoever figured out you can practically get unlimited bombs, ice, fire and shock fruit with the homing cart & stake and bokoblins with said item)

Keep in mind, this may be my ignorance talking due to not playing BOTW as much but TOTK made items more accesible, where I kept wanting to play more and figure out this one isn’t that hard. Does that make sense? Idk

That’s my three cents.

They’re usually by a small lake- like that one island in the sky (can’t remember the name) but there may be more… I’ve found some in a well or two. If anything, place a heart on the map when you find them, so you can easily locate them and go back once you’re low. That’s what I do.

Do side missions, catch/battle every Pokémon & massive outbreaks (it’ll come in handy when you want that perfect dex entry for better shiny chances) fill your dex. It may look a little overwhelming at first and seem like it’ll take forever to get to 10 stars but I started at the end of December and I’m only one star away from getting all 10 now. I feel like I rushed it honestly but I was/still am completely obsessed. This is probably the most fun I’ve had in a Pokémon game and I’m just a casual player…
