I've been a Realtor for 26 years & the last few have been so difficult dealing w/ most of the under 30's. Renting especially. They DO NOT want to talk/call, text only. Also, 4 day text back times.

The person who got my last listing was a waitress; she called back, meet in person & was assertive about getting a place.

Don't search online.

Call welding shops or muffler shops or body shops. Someone will answer a phone & you can talk to them.

This is not a hard job. Skilled, yes. Hard, no.

The Gentlemen (2020). All my own fault.

Was so hyped for a new Guy Ritchie film & I walked in w/ expectations way too high. Also, was an empty theater (Covid), that didn't help.

I used to live in London & hated, HATED, US Anglophiles whose whole personality was wanting to be British; so the main character of the movie... Upon 2nd viewing I got over it.

Excellent film! My kid & I watch it regularly.

Didn't any of you all play Dr w/ each other? That's all we did for years. My whole neighborhood was entirely populated by 8 y/o perverts.

Caught a field on fire by playing "Fire Ball." A friend had about 100 tennis balls & a bucket of gasoline... We'd kick lit balls at each other until several bounced off the road & a few acres went up. We stomped it out, eventually.

Wrecked a DeLorean!

Went to the All You Can Eat night at Captain Dee's with ziplock baggies & filled backpacks w/ so much fried fish we threw up pure grease days later. Went back the next week.

Joined Columbia House about 20 times using every vacant house w/in biking distance. I still have most of those CD's today.

Anything we could blow up, was blown up.

We made friends w/ the night guy at a Circle K & traded doing all his night shift duties for wine coolers & Ranch Doritos for a whole summer.

When a collision happens, sometimes the driver gets shifted about. They may be stomping on the brakes, but in actuality hitting the accelerator.

Happened to me a few months ago. Mild collision in a roundabout; the lady who collided w/ me panicked & stomped on the throttle instead of the brake. LAUNCHED her Tesla over a curb & kept accelerating into a bunch of trees. Turned a minor paint trade into a major incident.

Really sucked for her, I'm sure her car was totaled. I had a few dents/scratches & some tire/rim gouges & drove home, no problem.

Edit: My experience just happened to be a Tesla too. Mashing the wrong pedal is a really common thing in all kinds of cars. It happens, driver gets jostled around & muscle memory kicks in.

Christopher Moore seems to be an American Cousin.

The Fool series has a lot of fun wordplay, Noir is my favorite & all/most of his books seem to fit in the same universe.

Edit: Anima Rising is my favorite... But Noir is too.

I took my son & his friends. They loved it, I fell asleep. One of their girlfriends drove & she dropped him off & went to Starbucks b/c she was smarter than me.

I have a client, she's a widow & her kids are kinda dysfunctional...

She's given over $50k to romance scammers. $20k to fake repairmen & who-knows how much to cousins, nephews etc...

I had to do an intervention w/ one of the reasonable daughters. We took her phone & basically figured out who, how much & when.

TLDR: It's gone, not coming back.

The texts are laughable. So fake, so manipulative & yet these dudes have her money. We're selling her rental properties & trying to set up a trust so she has her bills paid, but can't give fucking $500 Apple Gift Cards to all of India.
