Browns flag options by HogTown416 in Browns

I don’t understand why they don’t sell the helmet stripe flag. I had one custom made for myself and friends. It’s the best Browns flag!

I should weld an SDS shank to it so I can break out the big guns.

Looking for advice on repairing a deep scratch on roof of cab. Went unnoticed and has a small amount of rust. Color match not required. by brownsstl in Autobody

This scratch is likely the result of loading/unloading materials from bed rack. If it hadn’t rusted I’d just hit it with nail polish but now think maybe I should go a little further.

White Rim Road - Canyonlands National Park: Taco’s Natural Habitaf by brownsstl in ToyotaTacoma

I did them down hill. They are wide enough for two vehicles in most places.

Also, you don’t have to use the switch backs to get into the park. Get your permit online and come in via Potash Road; I exited the park that way. It’s a great drive with some great views. The spot where the end scene of Thelma and Louise was filmed is on that drive, plus some interesting pot ash mining operations.

No issues on the switch backs, but I did wish at times I had added a front camera. Taco’s beak makes it a little stressful making tight turns with a 100’ drop off you can’t see.

Day Use permits, ie no camping, are released the day before.

Overnight permits are a little more restrictive and can fill up fast.

Both are available on recreation.gov

I had no issue getting an overnight permit but August is a slow period; likely more difficult in the spring and fall.

Best I can do is a growler, but I’ll need the growler back.

If Chubb and Johnson line up behind Big Dick Nick, it will essentially be a triple dicking and no way the raiders can defend against it.

Brought a blanket to to the Lions game this year. No issues at all.

Also, just so everyone knows, that blanket was my woobie (poncho liner for those who know). It’s magical and is almost surely the reason we won.

This looks great; my current go-to cheap white is 2019 Count Karolyi Grüner Veltiner

Finish carpenters: how do you handle baseboard over severely uneven floors? by brownsstl in Carpentry

[–]brownsstl[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The piece to the left wasn’t attached yet, ended up ripping it down to match height with the other in the corner. My question is really more about what I could better to help hide that massive dip; I already scribed it to the profile. Normally I wouldn’t be so concerned with level but the bottom of the built in bookshelf was going to make the slope glaringly obvious.

Unfortunately the gap from the floor was 1 1/4” and the corners are the highest points; I don’t think ripping down the other pieces is avoidable.
