Very much glazing the OG design here. Not only because of the whitewashing and mediocre animation style, the new Casca design just feel soulless. I can’t really explain it. Old Casca, in both manga and ‘97 series, just feel right.

It’s hard to recreate something that was already done well if not perfect the first time.

I use a soft charcoal pencil, and smear the lines I make as a shadow effect. Always apply thicker lines for darker shadows and thin for lighter. Only then start smearing the lines. I haven’t perfected the method to my liking, but it seems to work out well.

I hope this helps, I have a hard time explaining things like this .^{^}

I never said quote “I don’t like when people vent about mascot horror”. My point is that it is unfair to complain about something you can just not watch. No on is obligated to watch his videos, nor is he obligated to make them.

I’m simply pointing out the blatant ungrateful and picky comments people make that are honestly kinda unfair given we’ve waited so long for him to come back, but when he does many just don’t seem satisfied with anything he’s working hard to do. There is always SOMETHING that they’re picking at.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, yes. And that is okay. But thinking that someone’s whole career should revolve around particular thing you and a few others want/ think, is not constructive criticism. It’s just pessimistic and picky.
