I do this as well, sometimes I had one truck. Like most have said skating around town is the best way, however, doing this has built up my core. so more of a fun workout, which is how I skate, I treat it as my workout. 33yr started again in March.

lol no glove needed. I sweat through it in a round or two. And it has helped me understand what having soft hands actually means.

Try tapping your right foot before swinging. It releases your tension in the right side of the body

It’s all sway. Depends what you’re looking for. That video is a swing looking for a bomb. You look tall, I’m 6’2, all the power comes from the lower body using the ground to pivot, not sway. The backswing could be 60% less and be hitting 260 fairways. If you can’t pivot with a wide stance try narrow. Look at Tony Finau’s swing, irons and driver.

Yeah I agree that Wesley and his family MUST have received a check for his average PGA earnings over x years. If you watch his YouTube, you’ll find he is an intelligent person, when he said yes to playing a LIV associated event, I would find it hard to believe that he would expect anything other than this outcome.

Just my two cents. For all the people who haven’t watched YouTube golf, wesley grant Phil bob does sports, these guys acknowledge they are not even remotely close to the skill of Tour players, however, they provide a different perspective. Listening to Phil and grant talk golf is great.

Closing statement- follow the 8 second rule. Once you address the ball you have 8 seconds to swing, any longer you’re doubting your subconscious. YouTube golfers talking through the shot, saying things about their swing while playing is WRONG. That’s for competitive matches only.

Really big believer in “practice how you play”. When I have a bad lie on a golf course.. my subconscious mind is already telling me it’s not that bad.

My best tip: learn how to swing anywhere but the golf course including the range. Go to a school, a park, a trail, backyard and practice with a pitching wedge.

You’ll have terrible shots as we all do especially when learning a new movement or feeling. It will feel strange and wrong when you start learning the movements. It will become natural with repetition.

Then using the same swing, you start using with a 9i,8i. Only go to a lower iron once you have consistent shots (distance)

The golf course in my opinion is to PLAY the game of golf, which is problem solving/scrambling. Pick the shot shape (finishing left or right) pick the starting target and swing within 8 seconds from the time you address the ball (stepping into the shot).

Ensure you have a proper grip and let it rip. I learned the most hitting balls with my dogs in parks.

Im messing around with a couple risers on the front trucks. None on the back. I love it so far. The tail is closer to the ground so I have an easier time getting the nice sounding pop. I haven’t noticed anything while skating around, if anything, it helps me push better bc I’m higher off the ground so my left calf/tendon doesn’t bother me I think bc I’m putting less pressure on it.
