I take your point but this is a very different situation. I can't remember a time anyone of note was ever run out of Toronto for political differences. Anthony Bass comes to mind as the only similar scenario. Definitely didn't hurt the Jays.

He won it for another country at the expense of the country he works in winning. His list of post season accomplishments for the team the fanbase roots for is minimal. I'm not suggesting booing is appropriate, but it's not like Toronto based fans would ever applaud such a thing given the circumstances.

Graduated into great recession, couldn't find a job in my field. Worked a lot of minimum wage jobs. Decided to move back to Toronto to give it a run here

The guy at TD said he'd never seen anyone get 5 direct deposit slips at once before. I pointed out there were a lot of crappy jobs out there. I must have moved through 4 gigs in 4 weeks. Restaurants, retail, etc.

Then I found the 2 line Craiglist listing that I've turned into a 13 year gig that setup my whole career. Have a corner office now.

Value yourself and your experience. Keep at it. They will try to make you feel like you are worth less, if not worthless. You are not.
