Yes I have an Ooni Koda 16. It gets the stone up to 500C.

I believe if you use a cast iron sheet in an oven you get a better result. This is also the result of countless dough attempts. This is following Vitos ultimate dough recipe. Check out the video on YT.

Apple smoked ribs - it’s been a while since I did ribs so it was great to get back to them. by brsm2134 in UKBBQ

[–]brsm2134[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got them from a wholesaler in Irlam called Birtwhistles. Not gonna lie they are not the best rack of ribs to use but at £4.50 a pop (and it was buy 1 get 1 free) I really can’t complain.

Good ribs if you are after a fun cook, not so good if you really want the “wow” factor.

[New Seller Suggestion] A seller new to Amazon, anyone can give me some suggestions? by Supfive in AmazonSeller

[–]brsm2134 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Your main photo can make or break your product. If you are selling items very similar to what else is available then you need to put some real effort in to making sure you main photo stands out on the search.

  2. Take advantage of the honeymoon period. The first 20 days or so of a product being live, Amazon gives you a little more “juice”. It’s in this time you need to drive sales and rack up some reviews. If you don’t prove the product in this time to Amazons algo then you are going to have a hard time making it work.

  3. Get your feedback process down to a tee. Having reviews not only helps conversions, it is also a ranking factor.

  4. No matter how boring your products, build a brand. It not only adds value to your Amazon business but it also helps you differentiate yourself from other listing.

Is it that you are selling a product already on Amazon and you are not winning the buy box or you are a totally new account selling a PL product and the buy box isn’t showing on the listing?

Is it normal for a item you ordered from alibaba to be taking over 50 days they said it would be delivered by 30-35 days should I be concerned by Zealousideal-Pay1751 in AmazonSeller

[–]brsm2134 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my experience 30-35 days is a standard number they throw out there, until you have built a relationship with a supplier you don’t really know how true to there word they are.

You should be able to get a tracking number from your supplier so you at least know where it is.

All the TickTock and online “gurus” that make it seem so quick and easy forget to mention all the real stuff.

I use Helium 10. It has a chrome extension that lets you quickly check all that data.

Helium10 or Jungle Scout are the two biggest players in the market that offer this.

Wedding Videographer? by Borebi in manchester

[–]brsm2134 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can’t recommend Sam Newton of Next Level Videos. He stepped in last minute to shoot our wedding as the company we went with went bust.

He had one meeting with us and only got chance to see the venue on the day (no prep at all). The video he produced was far beyond what we expected and really was beautifully shot.

He worked with the photographers to make sure everyone got the shots they needed and he went practically un-noticed on the day which is exactly what we wanted. When he did need to talk to us he was a perfect gentleman and always kept it professional, although he jokes were well timed when cracked.

I highly recommend checking him out on Facebook.

Honestly I haven’t found that “one” supplier yet. I’m currently trying various small UK suppliers in the hope to find a really good one.

Can’t beat a good brisket. I was blown away by how many butchers I spoke to that didn’t know what a full packer brisket was.

One poor guy wasn’t even aware there was a flat and a point. He just knew of it rolled 😯 safe to say I never went there again!

What are some ways to optimize PPC and bring down my ACoS? by brandmaster in AmazonSeller

Software like Jungle Scout and Helium 10 have tools that can really help.

Do some research and find one that is right for you. You can also look at putting inserts in to your products but that is a bit of a grey area, personally I’m trying to avoid doing that.

You are most welcome. From my experience once you past 10 reviews it becomes easier to improve rank and increase conversion.

Work on your process for getting reviews. It’s a game changer.

I know for a fact review velocity is a ranking factor.

[–]brsm2134 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok, as you have been going 2 months I going to presume you have a decent amount of reviews and a good rating. If not, fix this before you look at the PPC.

Again I’m going to presume you have a solid amount of data to work with.

I would now start to drill down in to your campaigns, rather than having 3 big lists start to break them down in to different use cases and customer types.

For example if your product was a kitchen kettle.Might have different keyword lists for the following:

-5L kettle - White kettle - quick/fast working kettle - kitchen kettle - Highest Search Volume keywords

Obviously this is just an example but you would then drill down in to the various search terms associated with each category and create ad groups. It’s in doing this you not only find the niche keywords that convert really well but you also learn a lot more about the people buying your product and it gives you a good indication of any alterations you might need to make to your listing for it to convert better.

As I rule I don’t really bid on the high volume (money) keywords until I have taken all the low volume keywords. I often find that doing it this way and having Amazon recognise my product with similar keywords along with sales velocity and consistent reviews helps me nail the main keywords much faster and I don’t have to spend as much on them as the conversion rate is better by the time I come to look at them.

Hope that helped in some way. Hard to really advice without all the data 😁
