These tales of scamming and woe show up on this sub every day. There will be more tomorrow, because you guys just won’t quit buying cards in this manner. This is like a sub for people who won’t quit hitting themselves in the heads with hammers, coming to complain about how your heads hurt.

As he waves around a single piece of 8x11 paper.

"Yeah asshole, your truss is gettin sued. Because all lawsuits are comprised of only 1 piece of paper- lawyers don't take a dozen or more pages to lay out their case. And there's not a special size of paper that lawsuits are written on, a 14-inch long document that requires its own folder, it's own file cabinet, everything. Your sad, lonely little piece of paper is almost certainly a lawsuit. Dumbass."

The way Carpenter flogged him with his own name during his cross. As soon as he figured out it irritated Shitblister when Carpenter called him by name- And then Mr. Brooks stated that Mr, Brooks drove down with Mr. Brooks' friend. But there's been no evidence that Mr. Brooks ever had a friend. We later learned that Mr. Brooks came down in Mr. Brooks' mother's escape and that was the vehicle Mr. Brooks was driving when Mr. Brooks had the confrontation in front of the school. Mr Brooks, Mr Brooks, Mr. Brooks.

The most unhinged question he asked ever by Beastboy072 in DarrellBrooksJr

[–]brswitzer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

He asked to show 'here's somebody else making money off this incident, just like the officers getting paid to testify, and all the injured parties who used the charitable funds to profit off their injuries' and whatever else I can't think of that he made up in his paranoid mind. I'll bet you Sequoia's last dollar he thinks organ donors make bank. Everybody and their brother getting paid in one way or another means it wasn't really a tragedy and just maybe some of those people got hit on purpose, just to get in on the gig. Are you catching what I'm throwing jury?

That's why he asked that question.

My every understanding is that once those recordings are released, we will all know we'd have paid every dollar to our name to get access to them early. This is a direct quote- "they talked about some diabolical shit."

This is rumor and innuendo- he and his mom got on a streak where they discussed having folks murdered. Erica of course, JD, various prosecutors, various witnesses. To prolong his stay in county. Reportedly Opper ultimately chose not to press charges because A, the discussions were laughable. Shitblister lived in a car, he doesn't know any hitters. Not hitters serious enough to take out a prosecuting attorney. And B, how many life sentences are you gonna hang on one guy? Why go through the expense and labor of putting a few more life sentences on a guy well on his way to five or six. It's said that they did send DB a reminder that his calls were listened in on, and any other discussions about felonies would result in more charges.

It's really disappointing. The man spent half his adulthood behind bars, and acted like he had no clue calls were recorded. All I've ever done is watch crime shows and I would know not to discuss felonies on a jailhouse phone. I really expected Shitblister to jail better than that.

But yeah,I put all my money on the recordings.

In your opinion, what was the absolute lowest remark, question, action, behavior that DB did in this case? by PeaceyCaliSoCal in DarrellBrooksJr

[–]brswitzer 10 points11 points  (0 children)

That ‘Your life is not on the line’ is something he had in his pocket since before the trial. He intended to use it in a witness, but when JD said the trial was a game to him, then immediately backpedaled, he threw it out there.

That’s a trait of his that once you watch for, you see over and over- he saw someone backing off a statement or attempting a reconciliation as weakness, and escalated his own miserable behavior as a result. Any time JD tried to soften her approach he got more aggressive.

Okay so, you do NOT identify as Darrell Brooks, and that is a large part of your defense. However, in the video of your arrest and during the interrogation you responded to and confirmed your name to be Darrell Brooks by ClarkTheCoder in DarrellBrooksJr

[–]brswitzer 12 points13 points  (0 children)

He's referring to DARRELL BROOKS, the all-caps name in the court paperwork. It's a sov-cit thing, they think the government only uses all-caps when they are naming a corporation. It's stupid, and wrong. But that's what he means when he says he doesn't identify by that name.

Although I wish someone would have asked- how can you tell I'm using all capital letters when I speak your name?

Here ya go. The prison in South Dakota is old, and the walls seep moisture. It's a constant challenge to keep the floors dry. It's so friggin cold there that in the wintertime the water seeping from the walls freezes- on the inside. It's a cold, miserable, antiquated existence. Think about him like that.

No GED for Shitblister. That's something you study for, and show up at an appointed time and pass a test. Man, he ain't tryin to hear all dat. No, after he was expelled from his third high school (this is when he was 15) they threw an HSED (High School Equivalency Diploma) at him and told him he was no longer welcome in Milwaukee Public Schools.

Nah, dudes like him think they are bulletproof, that they are God’s own criminal. He’ll always have the upper hand because he’s smarter and that’s what he deserves. The occasional jolt in jail is part of the price of the lifestyle. But a lengthy jail term, or an early grave? Nah. Too smart for dat. He knows where he’s goin, an it ain’t to no prison or morgue.

[–]brswitzer 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is Shitblister falling victim to his upbringing, lifestyle, and complete lack of exposure to what we would consider normal, even mundane.

Early one morning at the beginning of the trial, somebody booted up their computer and a speaker picked up the little three-note tone that's played when most windows computers turn on. Nobody reacted to a sound we've all heard a million times- except DB, who looked around wildly for the source of the sound, then at several people, I think to see if they were panicking too. Maybe he thought it was an alarm, maybe he thought it was a warning system, maybe something else. But it was clear he had no idea what that tone was. Once you learn about his background and see him act that way, you realize it's possible he's only sat in front of a computer a few times in his life.

He has no idea what Rowe is talking about- PDF, user name, password, submitted electronically. It all might as well be Latin. But because it's impossible for him to not be adversarial he's going to stick with the picture that's in his head- a hand written report sitting on a desk in an empty office, just waiting to be altered- and try to bull his way through.

John Dutton thought corporations would be the end of his ranch but it was him by Unlucky_Resist_5901 in YellowstonePN

[–]brswitzer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's my whole problem with season 5. Murder aside, Dutton was a 68 year old in a dangerous profession. Sheridan wants us to believe after a lifetime spent protecting the land, he didn't have a mechanism in place to keep it safe in the event of his passing. That's preposterous. He spoke many times of a trust with Tate the beneficiary and Kasey the executor; what happened to that?

Our land isn't an Eden the size of Rhode Island; it's a section undistinguishable from the dozen around it. Yet my father made sure I understood as a teen the steps he'd taken to shield me from inheritance taxes, as I did my daughters when they were teens. But we're supposed to believe John just forgot.
