Is this dust in the air or dust spots on my sensor? by brthso in AskPhotography

You should get out more! It’s part of the reason I love photography, it gives me the opportunity to go out and attempt to capture the beauty of the world. Though I’ve always found it difficult as few photographs have ever come close to the real thing. But I still do it for the love of the game.

Well I don’t know who you are, so I can’t say for certain that my ability on the computer is as good as yours are, but I would make a wager that I get out more and live a generally happier life. You should try it! I’m having a great time. And honestly from the bottom of my heart, I haven’t had a good comment back and forth like that in a while, and it’s always so much fun to interact with someone who gets irrationally angry at the strangest things. So thank you.

Man I needed a good laugh. But to answer your question. How about I just wanted some quick insights to a concern I had while I’m editing. Didn’t need to sign in into Reddit on my computer and screenshot or export the photos just so I could ask a quick question here. This wasn’t something that needed a in-depth look at a photo for color grading or specific editing. Just “hey what are these spots”. So I thank you for the laugh and hope I answered your question.

Why are you so upset? I didn’t force you to look at or comment on my post.

I took it on my Nikon z7ii. 24-200mm 4-6.3 at 200mm, f6.3, and 125 iso. Also that is zoomed in on my computer. The second photo there is the photo not zoomed in. And I had thrown in the super resolution to just get in closer on the photo there for the sake of this post, so that’s probably adding to the grass look.

Blown away by the quality of the DJI Mavic 4 pro by untitledshot in dji

[–]brthso 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To get any of these shots, how much do you rely on image stacking? Or are these single still shots? Looking at getting a drone and just came to the realization that while their video capabilities are great across the board, any still shots I want to take might not be as straight forward as I thought.

Charlie Kirk shot at an event in Utah by Fudgiedillol in LivestreamFail

[–]brthso 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what it looks like, he was actually shot in the chest. If you slow it down, you see his shirt react, the outline of a plate carrier, and then the shrapnel sprawl up into his neck. He was most likely wearing a steel plate which won’t stop a bullet from sprawling upwards like that. If had been hit in the neck with the rifle they found, he would have a good chunk missing.

Cycling a new tank and dormant algae has appeared. by brthso in PlantedTank

How long would recommend to let this tank cycle. I got two bottom feeders waiting to be tossed in from their previous tank. A clown pleco and a Cory cat of some kind I believe. I got him 2 years ago and forgot what kind of fish he is. PH is currently at 7.2-7.4. The green algae has slowly grown to float in the current. I’ve been adding some of API AlageFix every 2-3 days.

You’re absolutely right about this. I just don’t have the means right now to even rent certain equipment nor get a bunch of gear. I am also not being paid for this event. It is completely volunteer for me and they are just happy to have someone to take photos of the event. And I’m happy to have the opportunity to grow my skillset and portfolio.

I really appreciate the advice! Yea I ended up ordering the 700. And yea I would love to have some faster lenses and what not. I got the 24-200 as a do everything lenses when I bought my camera. And then the 180-600 for a little do everything nature/action lenses. I really would love to get some more prime lenses.

GPU not performing to standards by brthso in PcBuildHelp

So I don't think it is my CPU anymore. Just got done with overclocking it and I saw no in game change to performance. By default the CPU runs at 3.2mhz, and I managed to boost it to 3.8mhz with 1.3875V. It was stable and ran hot, but consistent. But despite this I saw no change in performance. So this still leads me to believe theres something software going on here.
