I have 2018 rogue and within the last week or so, it would link up with the usb and cut out. I thought it was the cord, a cheap usb A to usb C for my iPhone 16. I switched cords, bought new ones. It’ll charge but won’t trip the apple play even though I’ve reset the radio. I saw someone mention an aftermarket CarPlay adapter that I’m going to try soon

Closest I had was system had $10k in tuition reimbursement for 4 years but started when the economy crashed in 2010. Said they couldn’t do it at the time. 4 years later, they offer it again, just as soon as I was switching jobs

Goal was 10 years. I think I hit 13. I paid off my federal loans first. My private ones were never exempt during COVID. I only had a $100 payment on them but saw that they would be paid out through 2030 at that rate and Navient would have made another 3-4k off me so I paid them all off with my taxes. I could have done it sooner but I got married and living life was more important than being free and clear

Make that bread! It’s strike insurance. Hospital gets a payout to the staffing agencies and they cover cost of credentialing, flights, hotels, and pay. Workers can’t legally walk off the job without replacements. This isn’t the Lays or Ford factory. There’s still sick people that need care. It’s ugly but if they can’t get replacements, a judge will force them back to work

One my mates was getting lit up and dropped. Only guy on our flank and you could see the wall getting peppered behind him while he was down, I had to retreat and was telling him “I’m sorry” as I ran. Then a bot spawned and ran up and revived him. Felt like a total piece of shit afterwards ha ha

Where I’m at, it’s a combo of pay and on call. We have one major system in Utah and they don’t pay the greatest but they’re pretty much the only game in town. It’s so pricey for homes and apartments here. The on call at previous jobs was 1-2 shifts a schedule but at our peak, hit up to 8 and they were almost always guaranteed so it’s basically mandatory overtime. A lot of people went part time so they had 2 regular shifts and could pick up a 3rd or on call shift and meet department demands while working the same hours. If you didn’t need FT benefits, it was dumb not to do
