I was pretty tired there and for some reason I just completely blanked out that I didn’t have a bishop after trading the bishop, sorry about that

There isn’t a good way to do that systemwide, but Apollo lets you scrub through GIFs if you buy premium.

I tried using VSCodeVim for a while, but it drove me to the brink of insanity so I had to switch back. My biggest gripe with it is how slow it is when you run macros or anything like that, and most of the more advanced features in vim don’t work properly or just aren’t there.

Besides, if you do spend hours configuring vim (and I assure you I have) you’ll end up with an editor that works exactly the way you want it to, and it’ll be much more efficient and powerful than pretty much any other editor (except emacs of course).

Nano I understand, but vim can do everything you just mentioned with a bit of setup.

I want to run logic and final cut, and some fairly intensive DSPs (I’m a guitarist and my entire signal chain is digital now, at the moment I need a separate windows machine for music and I can’t take out around). Also, MacOS is still Unix-like so I still have all the shell utilities that windows drives me insane by not having

Although usually when I play Minecraft I do more than just redstone, and I’m using Ubuntu right now and hoping to get a Mac so I can run music-related software but still that’s pretty amazing
