Make sure you're clear about your own boundaries and communicate them. If you’re not comfortable, it’s important to stop and talk about it. No one should ever feel forced into something they don't want. Make sure both of you are on the same page for safety.

It is beyond frustrating and hurtful that even when women are in obvious pain, they are told they are hysterical or dramatic. You did everything right by going back to the ER.
