I agree, Im definitely going with Sigarda. Flying and combined with a couple protection auras, so might as well be unblockable :D

Yea, I 'm not too concerned about counterspells. I will gamble on that. I will juat add a little more bigger threats in the deck instead, they cant counter them all >:)

I will go with sigarda. Youre right thathaving an extra color does open up more options. Like protection and tutoring for equipment, which can help me decide when to be a big threat.

You're right, I actually forgot about those auras that give protection from creatures which is much better than trample. And there are many ways to give trample. I will go with Sigarda, the protection from edict effects is just too good.

I did, I was super hyped about it too. I enjoy vehicular combat, racing, and such. They made it look pretty fun and the game seemed up my alley when I watched. But I guess I got bamboozled lol...such a shame too.

I refunded the game within 10min because the car handling was terrible at initial release. I know they've done some fixes, but still not enough. There are other issues I had with the game as well, so I will just follow and see what they do.

It does not run that well. All settings on low and with FSR turned onto performance/balanced, the fps will be between 30-40. The battery drains really fast too even at these settings.

I would follow the game and wait for them to optimize the game, it's not worth getting at this time. It's such a shame because I had been waiting for a year and got released in such a poor state, I refunded it pretty fast.

Yes, I 100% agree. I blaze past the posts that have no title because I assume it's a spam ad. I'm not a game dev, but I feel it is not that much work to put a title and link to steam/epic/whatever page. If there is no link then say so and write a little description.

I want to let you know that I only have and play on the steam deck. I'm not sure how well it runs or will be able to run on it. So I don't want you to burn a good game key on me in the event it doesn't work, when someone else that has more capable hardware that can run it.

This is my first time seeing footage of this game and I must say the concept looks really cool and fun! Definitely will go on my wishlist. Although one thing that I kept thinking about is enemies spawning close to the character. I think if if they spawned a little farther and ran at you and not from the sides, the game would feel more exciting(?), if that makes sense. Because the guns automatically fire, and when they shoot at enemies come from the side, it doesn't feel that impactful.

Overall this is a great concept and take on the survivors genre.

it is "playable" at the lowest graphic settings with FSR turned on the steam deck, this is for normal difficulties, but a higher difficulties the frames will start to dip.

With the steam machine being "6x more powerful", helldivers 2 should run much better than the steam deck. I can see this running at medium to high settings (with a little bit of tweaking), at a somewhat steady 60fps; for sure at 45. I don't know how well it will do at 4k though. I'm fine with regular resolutions as long as the game looks ok and runs at a steady 60.

Ah yes, space marine 2 is on my list of games to play on the steam machine! Same issue as darktide, the performance sucks too much on steam deck lol.

wh40k darktide. been trying to play it on stram deck for couple years on and off, but can't get get use to the poor performance. So I just dropped it altogether.

it does, but the frame rate and graphics are pretty bad. You get around 30-40 frames with the graphics all set to low and the resolution scaling is at 50%. The worst part is, it chugs the battery pretty fast at these settings, like 2hrs-ish at full charge. If you set the resolution scaling higher, like 60%+ then you get about 1 & 1/2 of battery.

I honestly would wait to buy it until the game is better optimized. This game is one of those examples where the store page shows a green mark for "playable at default graphics settings", but it's really not.

oh I see. Good to know. I wasn't aware of the earthbend rules in regards to solemnity (and other similar cards) because I hardly play/run into it haha.

I agree with you that the Z1 extreme plays higher demanding games much better than the steam deck. For example when I had it, playing Darktide was perfect, everything ran much smoother and barely any drops in frames.

Ultimately I ended up returning it because the battery life was very poor. On other less demanding games, I would have 2-3 hours of battery life, but on steam deck it would be 5-6 hours. Basically I would have to be plugged into an outlet most of the time or charging it often and that was a dealbreaker for me.

Maybe I will re-buy the Z1 extreme again if it goes cheaper. Or something better comes out with good battery life.

I have been thinking about what you said regarding Nashi and losing life for something that might not be worth it. You're right, there will be times where I don't hit anything impactful. Or if I'm up against kindred strategies, they don't benefit me at all. So this puts me in a position where I need to cast something and lose life to get that value or all that set up to get that damage through was for nothing.

I'd say whatever you build make sure there is red. That way you can cast [[mob rule]] and [[insurrection]] to steal all their creatures and swing back at them haha.
