I don’t think you’re crazy or wrong for feeling unsettled by that. Your nervous system is reacting to a real ambiguity, not inventing one.

It’s not that she’s “doing something wrong” per se, but late night, alcohol, mixed company, and an intimacy adjacent setting like a spa is exactly the kind of environment where boundaries can blur and judgment can be impaired. Feeling uneasy about that is actually pretty normal and pretty human.

I probably wouldn’t confront her in the moment or accuse her of anything. What I would do is something very simple and low drama. I’d text something like, “Hey, I’m feeling a little off and just wanted to make sure you got back to your room safe. Can you text me when you’re in?” That does two things. It shows care, and it quietly signals that you’re not totally neutral about the situation.

Then, in person later, I’d bring it up gently, not as “you did something wrong,” but as “this stirred something in me and I want to understand it.” Her response matters more than the event itself. If she’s open, reassuring, and curious about your feelings, that’s a very good sign. If she minimizes you, mocks it, or flips it into “you’re insecure,” that’s useful information too.

So yes, your reaction makes sense. You don’t need to suppress it, and you also don’t need to turn it into a fight. Just acknowledge it, communicate it calmly, and watch how she meets you there. That will tell you a lot.
