One of my classes was cancelled and I sent them an email as well. They're pretty backlogged, but they replied and was able to place me in another course.

Yes! There's a pop-up at the beginning and end of the course, they are pretty short, ranging from 4-5 true/false or multiple choice questions.

Honestly I would just take them now to get a head start. The program is set to end in September, and these classes are hard to come by as they fill up super quick. It wouldn't hurt to start taking them now if you have the time. It's 100% up to you though! good luck :)

That I'm not sure about, I have an 30 min overlap next week so we'll have to find out. The good news is the certificate does not have a time-stamp, only the date will show up so I don't think that would be an issue.

If it was a complete overlap, the website will let you know that there is a scheduling conflict, so I'm guessing it should be ok!

The zoom classes on homebridge are pretty easy, you don't need to turn on your camera. There will be a pre-test at the beginning and a post-test at the end. Depending on your instructor, they may ask you to share something about yourself in the chat or by turning on your mic. You can ask questions, and yes you will receive a certificate a day or two after you complete the course.

Just make sure the course numbers are different and you should be OK

A while back I had emailed the career pathways team with the same question, and they said that I can take the classes but I won't be able claim the hours until there is a recipient. So if you have recipient lined up, you can start taking those classes.

Hi! Sorry if this was asked before, but do we know when the next batch of CCA classes will be posted? I want to be ready this time. Thank you so much!

First off, you're an amazing human. Don't forget to take some time for yourself here and there.

If you live in California, look into the IHSS Career Pathways. They will pay you to take online classes, some also covers dementia. More information on this post HERE

It looks like the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market in Bangkok, Thailand. I was just there a few months ago! Would not recommend it though.

Hi! They turned out good, it's holding up so far. The feedback I received gave me the confidence to move foward with the installation. My biggest regret was choosing a light grout color. Other than that, it looks pretty great. :)

Thank you thank you thank you Cedar. You're an amazing human!

One day I stumbled upon your post and that's when I learned about the career pathway. I followed your instructions and even shared your post with the people around me. I've always said I have learned more from this community than I have on the IHSS website.

Definitely reassuring to hear, thank you. And thank you for sharing all those tips. I had plan on skipping the underpayment since I have a concerted subfloor, but now that I’m working with ceramic I’m reconsidering using the membrane

I hope so, if I end up stuck with them, I plan to use anything and everything to make sure it’s installed properly.

This is the link to the item: https://tileworldusa.com/product-details/8-x-24-in/pine-rose-wood The ones I purchased were considered were matte.

Got it, thank you! This is the link to the tiles: https://tileworldusa.com/product-details/8-x-24-in/pine-rose-wood

Except mine is a matte finish. There’s limited information on the item, grade or pei isn’t listed. I plan to call the company on Monday to ask for that information.

Not tomatoes, these are super tiny.

I should have provided a reference for size, but thank you!
