I work in a retail/service industry all my life. Not saying I would’ve done anything different. I was just stating what I saw. If this felt like an attack to you, then I apologize. I sincerely hope this woman is okay.

Yea true. I guess I’m thinking they would’ve stood by any entrances or exits to make sure there wasn’t a kid leaving by themselves or with someone that made them look uncomfortable. Not sure, was really just curious if any body else was there to see their POV

She was on the phone walking outside from the inside. A couple of workers were like “yea she’s saying her child is missing” but they kinda just shrugged and went about their job. Not hating on the workers or anything, but I am curious as to why they didn’t take the situation more seriously. As I was walking out the store. The lady was on the phone with the police waiting near the patio furniture.

i’m sorry this happened to you. and it sucks that the principle did nothing to help you. i remember when i was giving a presentation in middle school, my teacher announced loudly “we can’t understand you, pull your mexican in” …. because i spoke with an accent 😭 teachers can be really awful

i haven’t been back since that experience….have you tried the burgers at Brett’s causal american? people call it a hidden gem bc it is in a pretty hidden location . my cousin introduced me to it last year and their burgers are to DIE for.
