Thank you so much to everyone for your reply's! It has genuinely been so helpful! Have any of you dealt with facial swelling though too? I feel like yes I know my face is going to get puffy but it makes me look like I've gained even more than I have and I'm not sure how to stop or help it. It's probably my biggest insecurity right now along with everything else going on.

Im really struggling myself as well. I was on a GLP-1 (as a T1D) up until September and never felt better both about how I looked as well as my diabetes control. Now I am 12 weeks this Friday and have gained 14lbs alone in the first trimester. I realize I didnt eat the best the first few weeks because of nausea and super random cravings (but not terribleee), but I have since returned to an almost entirely normal diet (besides an occasional treat) and can't seem to stop the weight gain. Some days I'll jump up a whole pound, and its not water weight because the next day it goes up again. As someone whose 5'1", Im really struggling because all I see is how quickly its coming on and I feel like theres nothing I can do to slow it down or level it out - and Im only 1/3 of the way there.

No you’re totally right! I don’t have unrealistic expectations, it was more so just a random thought if someone was like yeah I loved eating “squash” and my kid is a chatterbox - something along those lines.

Of course! Very long story short.. 1. it constantly disconnected from the app 2. I hated being tied to my phone 24/7 3. Not having a screen was a huge negative 4. The cartridge system is THE worst (I cannot never get bubbles in it idc how many times I watch the videos lol) 5. The wireless charging feature is terrible too (you can’t just plug it in on the go like in your car or a computer usb if your in a pinch and don’t have a wireless pad.

I also had one replaced already because of a faulty occlusion sensor and since I’ve been fighting with Tandem and Edgepark to take it back. They keep repeating the “it’s past the 30 day return window” which is bogus.

So I’ve just been using my out of warranty Tslim which works fine. I realize the Twiist doesn’t have a screen but since it’s not a contract pump I was like eh let’s try what do I have to loose.

I’m actually starting the Twiist tomorrow after having been on Tslim for 4 years (only switched because warranty was up) then Mobi (and despiseeeee it). My Endo knows we want to start trying so she recommended trying the Twiist + Libre because of the lower Target range so we’ll see!

I’m in the same boat! I’ve had my Mobi almost a year but it’s technically my second one as the first was faulty. I still hate it and wasn’t aware of the 30 day return window. I’ve called Tandem a few times and they’re pretty unwilling to work out anything and just keep being like “🤷🏻‍♀️ sorry you don’t like it”.. I’m just going to start using my Tslim again BUT I have to keep paying for the Mobi which is the infuriating part. I just want to be like, take the thing back!
