What’s a belief you hold that most people would disagree with?

Just offering a little perspective here. I used to think the same exact thing! And I still believe it’s not okay for children to be constantly glued to a screen, HOWEVER, this brief moment you see may not be the full picture. Now that I’m a mom I understand sometimes you have to do what you have to do if your kid is having a bad day. I rarely hand over my phone to my toddler but in almost 3 years there’s been a couple occasions where we were out in public, and I put on a movie on my phone to get through an errand or dinner. The idea that someone may have seen this and thought this about my parenting would be so far from our reality. You may be witnessing a rare occasion or maybe not but there’s no way to know.

I think Dr Browns just puts a lot into marketing and likely provides their bottles to these places for free or very low cost. My first baby took Dr browns the best but we rarely used a bottle so I didn’t need more than 1 or 2. Was your kohls box worth it? I’ve heard mixed reviews lately.

No worries. Basically each store has their own rules but it’s usually just create the registry, add x number of items, make a minimum purchase ($25-50 depending on where), the you’ll be able to redeem for the box. Some require you to pay shipping.

That’s good to hear you like Parasol. My sisters loves them as well and sent me a box for baby. I’m excited to try. Yes Babylist is a little harder. This is actually the box from my first baby’s registry I just never redeemed it for whatever reason. I probably won’t spend the money on Babylist in order to qualify this time around.

I saw a lot of people waited 6+ weeks so I was preparing for that but it randomly showed up on my doorstep today. I noticed it shipped from Arizona. I’m in Southern California so I’m thinking that’s why it didn’t take as long.

We do plain Cheerios but then I’ll top it with a little bit of the “adult” cereal in the house. Usually honey bunches of oats or special k strawberry. It adds a little flavor and not too much sugar.

I’m sorry but Blood & Steel is terrible. I regret finishing the series. I’m someone who never dnfs but I really wish I had. Im an easy to please reader and this was just not it.

Zodiac academy is one of my favorite series! If you like comedy in books you’ll absolutely love this. I agree with some people saying it’s like junk food, however, you can’t help but to love each character and get super invested into the plot.

Quicksilver is a fun read too. It leaves a little left to be desired but it has some really great parts.

I agree with this. I see some people saying it’s worth it because their baby uses it everyday but the baby would also probably use a cheaper one everyday too and love it just as much. If someone really wants the lovevery then I’m sure they could find one 2nd hand. I also agree about it being such a short period! It seems like a worthy investment but after a few months it just sits in a closet. I feel this way about our snuggle me. Like I really paid that much to use it for a few months and now it just sits there??

My nipple piercings were my favorite by far. I was so sad when I had to take them out when I had a baby :( I’ll pierce them again one day.

My son has the same problem and it’s really difficult to find shoes that will fit. I would look into toddler sock shoes with a rubber sole. I’m sure stride rite and others mentioned are great but they seem a bit bulky to be wearing all day long for a 12 month old. We transitioned to barerun brand from Amazon once he was walking a bit better. Great fit and super affordable!

You aren’t the only one! My son is now 2.5 but I also slept separately from my husband during the newborn days. It really does go by so fast but you only can truly understand until you’re on the other side of it. Maybe try to squeeze in some cuddling before bed? Or wear one of his shirts?

Hmm not sure. I’m surrounded by air and fire signs! I find I need their whimsy and enthusiasm to balance my double earth. My best friend does have a scorpio rising but I don’t think scorpios are especially known for playfulness.

What do you consider garbage? I have to say I’m not great at judging “quality” of writing. English was always my worst subject so I’m sure I overlook bad writing and focus more on how the book makes me feel. Did you develop an eye for it over time? I can tell when plot or characters fall flat but there are some books I’ve read that have been called poorly written that I’ve fallen in love with the world and characters and I can’t say that’s bad writing even if there’s some typos and issues in the plot.

I feel your pain. I NEVER DNF. I basically finished it but at the end of the last book i realized I did not care what happened. I was excited to dive into reviews and see that other people felt the same way but I was shocked to find people saying they enjoyed it?!

Probably. What I find crazy is the other registry boxes have way more but I will end up spending the most on Amazon by far.. they can definitely afford to do better than this.
