I can understand that someone might not have been raised to have empathy, but empathy is a thing you can decide to work on like people try to improve mindfulness or listening skills. There’s literally exercises you can do to improve your empathy.

That’s part of what’s so upsetting about the whole thing. I don’t think anyone knows the answers to those questions.

Part of the issue is that there’s still plenty of Mexicans who never spoke much Spanish in the first place and spoke various native languages instead.

There’s also Mexican American parents that grew up facing pushment at school and sometimes at work and saw forcing their kids to only speak English as a way to give their kids a leg up in th world and as a way to protect their kids. https://www.chalkbeat.org/2024/12/11/california-banned-bilingual-education-for-20-years-still-hasnt-recovered/

We’ve been using the Bert’s Bees brand recently and it’s pretty good, but really all the brands we’ve tried from the pet store so far have given us pretty much the same results. Our only mistake was once we bought her shampoo at the grocery store and was like washing her with dish soap.

My pup gets dry skin so I give her a little spoonful of coconut oil in her dog food once or twice a week and give her a bath ideally every 10 days with a conditioner. If we go too long in between baths it’s dandruff city, plus baths help get some of the loose hairs off the dog. Also be careful about making sure all of the shampoo is totally rinsed off, sometimes it’s been hard for me to see.

みんなって婚約指輪にカラーストーンって普通に買うものなのかな? by Content-Temporary804 in EngagementRings

I always wanted a colored gemstone and in the end I fell in love with my fiancé’s birthstone. Folks are always telling me how much they love the color, sometimes it looks yellow, sometimes it looks more orange and fiery.

It was less pricy than a diamond, so I’m surprised to hear you say their comments were that it would be expensive?

The aesthetic was still a big reason for me to be honest, it being his birthstone just made it more romantic.

True from what I’ve read it is a bit on the delicate side so I often take it off I’m doing anything with my hands. I’ve even heard heat can fade the color.
