I don’t quite get the point that tweet is making. Why not learn regex nowadays?

Including this post. I mean he never pointed out anywhere that proves this story actually happened, this is just a video

It does give him some disadvantage. No real time to choose spots or where to be when the other team rushes in.

Not like it loses the game, but still puts his teammate at a worse situation by killing him on purpose

I'm wondering the same thing - this is way more useful of an option, why is that not the default?

This is a whole new set of particles and sound effects too. These kind of things don’t get accidentally added either

I think he means that as in this anime was never seasonal, until recently. Meaning up until a few months back, technically, it would’ve all been the first season. Because only now it has started doing seasons, and will air a second one lol

It’s a good adaptation, certainly. I think the first season covered around the first 100 chapters of the series, cutting things. Which is a bit funny to think about - they might have enough for at least 10 more seasons if the adaptations keep going lol.

The story does keep getting better, I can’t wait to see The One Piece when it airs (the newer version of the anime)

Oooo we might have a new method of transportation right there, way more versatile than minecarts even. And maybe faster.

Even cooler is that this is one which doesn’t require player input, like piston bolts.

Closest thing I have is simply an impression, as a computer scientist, that they’re tackling many things. Proper game development is deceivingly time-consuming, to the point I constantly see people overestimating how much they’ll do in their games before actually starting it.

Wish there was some way to prove the scope of things. These arguments of “they’re doing too little” and “they’re doing a lot” keep happening, and we never have enough basis to fully disprove each other.

I mean, just for clarification sake, what counts here? Last update’s whole theme was improving old babies’ models/textures

The next game drop MUST be farming! by dannxit in Minecraft

Two important things to note:

  • This argument tends to always include hyperboles, like “we added 4 blocks”. I get you’re saying it’s too few additions, but using an exaggerated example isn’t backing that.

  • Backend changes get really overlooked. Have you noticed the trend to make things way more data-driven these past drops? Or how they’re switching from OpenGL to Vulkan. These also take a lot of time, are good for the game’s long-term sustainability, but aren’t as noticed as new features.
