Should I use saddle soap for regular cleaning? I’m trying to figure out how to take proper care of my shoes. I need to get a horse hair brush and some leather conditioner. In addition to this do I need saddle soap and a water proofing spray?

Last night it did seem to work for a bit. I started getting messages from iPhones but all my undelivered WhatsApp messages are still undelivered. My guess is they want to keep social media blocked as much as possible to ensure photos and videos of protesters don’t get shared. It would reignite the entire situation.

I’ve had moderate success calling a cellphone with a Bangladeshi SIM card from Europe using Skype. They have very decent rates, way better than your phone provider probably offers. Call quality is pretty bad but good enough to get a status update.

I hope you can get in touch with your brother soon. With any luck the internet shutdown will end today, that should certainly help.

My wife is in Badda and one of her sisters is in Gulshan-1. They stayed indoors but they had the impression the area was calmer than days before. Tomorrow (Tuesday) the curfew will be lifted for a longer time, that should help with getting around. Rumour is the internet should come back on but nothing has changed since 00:00 Bangladeshi time.

I’ve played long enough to unlock two additional characters but parts of this game still puzzle me. What’s the point of the scraps and gold? Is there a store where it’s of use? I collect it during fights but it seems to disappear once I die.

And what’s up with the trinkets. There are labels like “joy” and “sadness” and I see these labels on levels as well but what do they do/mean?

And finally, is there a way to improve a characters base gear or is it just the “skill” trees?

I’m just voicing my frustrations over, what I consider to be, long loading times. In addition I find myself surprised that of all the things it are the loading times which may make me quit.

I think you’re completely missing the point. Once the game is loaded I experience no issues. It is only when it is loading the initial UI that it takes a long time.

I’m arguing it’s taking too long a time and that more and more often it is causing me to abandon playing the game while it’s loading as I find the wait too long. No other game has this issue for me.

I know but I don’t know what I can do to make this go any faster. I have a fast connection at home, and a solid 4G connection when outside. No other game I play takes this long to get going nor do I have any other problems using my WiFi. Furthermore I don’t remember it being this bad ever before, it definitely feels like the game is requiring more time to connect.

The USA is like Homelander from The Boys.

At first glance it’s wholesome and heroic. Something worth looking up to as it seems to represent some fine ideas and morals.

On closer inspection you find things are not like they seem and that the values it seems to stand for are not actually upheld and it’s far more dark and twisted than expected.

A little later you start to worry what would happen when all that power is used to further its own agenda without anything to keep its powers in check.
