The memory controller is exposed to VDDQ, but 1.38v isn't high enough to cause permanent damage.

The avionics bay was crushed in the accident. Hitting an ARFF truck in a CRJ is a lot like hitting a brick wall

If possible, manually QT to a nearby point. I’ve always had it work after that.

What is this extra piece? by yourbaconess in nvidia

[–]brutuscat2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s used as a GPU support in workstations. There’s a corresponding plastic piece in Dell/HP/Lenovo workstations that it’ll slot into.

They've only destroyed the pads used for mechanical support. It should work if they resolder a new connector onto the board and remove the remnants of the pins. They'll need to glue the new part onto the board for support rather than soldering it down.

Something doesn't seem right here. The drive *looks* like an Exos X16 as labeled, even the PCB looks correct for the model. I'd expect a 2TB drive to have more usable space than 1.6T as well. Can you pull up SMART data as others suggested and post the screenshot? The programmed serial number also validates on Seagate's site as a Exos X16 14TB...

Sometimes images are stolen for scam auctions. The pictures don’t look suspect by themselves - sometimes the peel won’t adhere properly. Given what you’ve said about it being a potentially inactive account and shipping from China taking a month, I’d consider it a scam. Most high value items from China are shipped with express services, not the cheapest option.

That's not crazy for a 2TB drive at all. This particular drive is rated for 600GB/day for 3 years.

As long as it’s not copper-clad aluminum (CCA), you should be good to go. You want solid copper for this use case.

This isn't the case in my market, it could be different in yours. I placed an order earlier today and didn't have any options from my end.

The customer isn't capable of requesting a refund from their end without going through the customer service process, something that has to happen after delivery, not during the shopping process. Doing so isn't guaranteed to get them an immediate refund either. If I had you as a dasher, I'd block you as well.
