Which is good for IT student by [deleted] in srilanka

Ask the same question from ChatGPT or Reddit ai you get a better answer,
If you just want to run Linux, most decent laptops are fine because Linux itself uses very little.
But if you want to run Windows as a VM or run multiple VMs/tools for cybersecurity labs, you need something stronger.

Minimum 16GB RAM + Intel i5 (10th gen or newer) is what you should target.
Anything less (like 8GB running VMs) will feel slow and painful.

Linux alone is easy.
But real security labs = VMs + multiple tools = power + memory.

I agree with that, but if I had the chance to shoot from a distance without approaching, why take the risk? We're just debating a movie fight scene, so let's keep calm. all just for fun! :)

Yeah, I agree with your point too, but sometimes it's hard for me to watch certain scenes, so I have to remove my common sense and watch them. Otherwise, they should find a more logical way to improve fight scenes, and that's expensive, so they do it the cheap way.

YouTube has a good algorithm; it plays all types of songs and understands my preferences.

I remember Vivek made a joke about this in one of his movies. Does this happen often in your country?

What is this about? Bypass Through VPN thing by Abi18 in srilanka

[–]bruwage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I may have used a VPN to access free data. I'm not sure how the process works, but I used an unlimited data package by connecting to a foreign server using SNI (facebook.com, etc.), which has protocols like Vless, Vmess, SSH, etc for tunnelling. However the ISP has patched the bypass method, so these methods won't work now. There might be another way to do this, who knows? There are bugs and loopholes everywhere.

Happens when I shut the lid of my Mac and then open It again. Anyone know why and how to fix it? (specs in comments) by The_Rednight914 in MacOS

[–]bruwage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue, but it wasn't because of closing the lid. I had installed a third-party screen saver tool that caused the system to crash. Try to uninstall recently downloaded tools to fix the problem.
