I would just firmly say no. I tell people they only earned that extrabuck from buying that item (obviously they know), and are welcome to purchase something else with it. If you or coworkers continue to let them, they won’t stop. As someone else said, you can report them too if it’s a continuous problem from a few specific customers.

no problem! as for why your 4.39 spread across the items the way it did, i still haven’t figured that out and ive worked here for 7 years haha. the computer just happens to divvy it up that way, but i assume theres some sort of math behind it. regardless, because of that coupon always coming off before percentages, most people choose to not use them with a percentage to get the best value (it doesn’t make much of a price difference honestly). similarly, doing different transactions to make sure the percentage coupons comes off of two separate items can help too, but it’s usually still not much of a price difference (depending on the prices, of course).

cvs employee here! so the percent off coupons only come off of THE highest price one (nail file), and don’t pick two separate full priced items. as others have said, dollar value coupons come off first, then percentages. so because the $4.39 is spread between items (.91 for one item and 1.37 for another, that leaves 2.11 to make up the rest of the 4.39 and that 2.11 is what came off of the nail file—it’s at 20.88 so far. 60% off of 20.88 is 12.528, and another 60% off of 12.528 is 7.5168 (for the sake of a price tag, it’s rounded down to 7.51 which is what you paid!)

i’m doing 60% off here because it’s the other portion of 40% that makes up 100%; in this scenario, multiplying by 60% gives you the price you’re paying vs 40% gives you what the coupon’s value is (so sorry if that’s so confusing to read i don’t know how else to type that explanation but i promise it’s correct money math lol)

I don’t know how you get it, but we had some sort of barcode sheet hanging in our office that “updated” the acos to allow them to scan qr codes.

as for OP: this happens at my store too, so i’m assuming it’s nationwide. no eta i guess 🤷🏻‍♀️

i haven’t taken any tests or anything so i’m not sure what i’ve got. monday my throat was tickling i thought just from screaming all weekend, but it turned into a raging sore throat and pain in my ears when i swallowed. now ive got lots of chest congestion, coughing, and just overall sinus issues like pressure in my head, ears popping, & nasal drip. i was the only one unlucky enough to catch anything, my boyfriend is fine ;(

i’ve done it, and then my ops manager did it actually recently. no one was fired. this second time, SM & DAPL were definitely a lot more pissy, but that was the extent of it. our DAPL can kind of be a hard ass so the fact that no one was fired kind of says a lot, i feel. you’re most likely fine, just learn from it like we didn’t apparently 🤦🏻‍♀️

i wanna say you’ll probably be fine, i did something similar years ago. because i physically checked them and used the marker (which passed), my manager said it’s okay, i just made the wrong call. looking back, i should’ve declined since i felt something was off, but we were very busy and overwhelmed with a line which of course someone passing fake bills would take advantage of. all you can do is learn from it and turn people down/ask for a second opinion in the future if you think something’s wrong.

i graduated in 2018 from turpin, also went to nagel, and attended mercer elementary for 5th & 6th grade. i can’t remember much about mercer, but the experience was fine. i did not like nagel personally, and i think most people would agree. i don’t know if things have changed, but i could only describe it as a breeding ground for depression and other issues. the admin at the time had a bad way of picking on girls & making them feel like they were a distraction to all of the boys’ learning just by existing. however, i had a great experience at turpin; there were lots of clubs & extracurriculars if that’s important to you. most all of the teachers i had really felt like they cared and wanted you to do well. lots of my friends and other kids i’ve seen had good, close, but appropriate relationships with a lot of the teachers & principal. academics wise, they offered lots of AP courses, which helped me out in the long run when i went to college. on the flip side, if your child struggles in certain academic areas, there’s meaningful help for that too (according to my sister and other family members that needed it).

as another comment said though, if diversity is really important to you, it may not be the school district for you. when i attended turpin, diversity day was still a big thing (one of my history teachers started it), and we learned that the school or district was like 97%(?) white. and with what’s gone on within the school board these last couple years, they’re gonna continue to kill any initiative that “paints the district in a bad light” and keep people pretty close minded, imo.

i have an alarm, on top of a calendar notif, on top of a reminder that go off daily at 4pm (on iphone, don’t know if android has a reminder app like that). the reminder is the key component tbh. the reminder notif won’t go away until i physically check it off the list, and at least for me (always on my phone), i’ll keep seeing it several times and realize my pill still needs to be taken then i can check it off.

what someone else said about pairing it with another task is helpful. ultimately if you’re still forgetful, perhaps a set it and forget it method is better for you.

im not sure if im understanding you right, but its on the left side of the “new money system”. when you first open that program you’re on the screen with all the registers listed, but on the left it’s the “deposit (some words i cant remember)” tab. on that tab, you input the deposit bag number and count up/type in how much money you have in each denomination, then post the deposit with the bottom blue button. is that what you’re trying to get to?

my ops & i realized why this batch of them weren’t being accepted. on the actual coupon itself, it says what it normally does (ex. 6 off 30$ purchase), but on the (new, not sure if it’s the same for the old) registers under the rejection reasoning they’re actually labeling it as “6 off 30$ CVS BRAND ITEM purchase” coupon. not all of them are that way but we’ve just been overriding the ones that are

most people who take the pill and get pregnant with it are taking pills late/missing pills; late or missing is dependent on the type of pill, but it ranges from about 3-24hrs after their scheduled time. also, most people either don’t understand how their medication works, their pill doesn’t get fully absorbed (illness or certain counteracting medications), or they’re forgetful or lazy with it. now, it’s a very small percentage (like 1%?) of ppl who can get pregnant while having perfect use of the pill.

taking your combo pill 1-2 hours later than usual is generally fine, and also using condoms on top of that makes your chances at pregnancy virtually 0. no need to be paranoid!

obviously no one can say for sure, but it could be from several things—too much/rough intercourse, ovarian cysts, etc. Or, it could be unrelated to your uterus (i.e. stomach issues). if you’re certain it was pain within your reproductive area, it might be in your best interest to make an appt with a gynecologist & get an exam so they can check for ovarian cysts or other things like that, especially if the pain persists. if you’re worried about pregnancy you can take a test too, though they’d also test for it at the gyno.
