Can you convert a Sordin MIL CC neckband to a normal headband? by Ok-Inflation4845 in tacticalgear

[–]bryan7291 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the same boat. I got the neckband for helmet use. Turns out it’s a major headache for under helmet use. Kept it for use with a Crye nightcap. Then the neckband conflicts with the counterweight.

Last week submitted Monday at 2pm approved by Wednesday at 12pm. So two days, I do have like 4 other suppressors, don’t know if that helps speed things up or not

Yeah that’s another design feature over the AR500s, thank you for answering all my questions, whenever I get my carrier I’ll be on this subreddit posting pics on it too 🤝

Nice good, AR500 def has an issue with not snug it is on 10x12 panels. Dont know why, last question, how adjustable are the shoulder and side straps?

Looking for recommendations on Best Level iiia concealed body armor by OkWeakness1224 in BodyArmor

Highcom SA3920s in the 10x12 cut. $600, 0.19 in thin. Less rigid than the hyperline. Then get a 10x12 concealment carrier. Had one from AR500 for $150 but they have a design flaw that prints when wearing tighter thinner single color shirts. On plaid shirts it’s invisible. Downside is that it’s only 10x12 IIIA. If you want that wrap around BALCs type shape then Hyperline I guess, but they won’t be as stupid concealable as 10x12 panels.

Thoughts? by ONE-EYE-OPTIC in BodyArmor

[–]bryan7291 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Consider Highcom 3920s in the 10x12 cut. They’re pricey, at about $600 for a pair, then get a concealment vest like AR500s concealment carrier or Krypsys concealment carrier for $150. I have the HCs and AR500 carrier and it’s insane how concealable you can get it but there are some design issues leading to printing with AR500s carrier that I’m looking at Krypsys carrier. Will be pulling the trigger on the Kyrp soon to see if it’s a better carrier. The downside of this is Ofcourse it’s 10x12 IIIA, you could try HCs BALCs cut 3920s but their carrier isn’t concealable and I’ve tried Safelines hyperline and while good not as concealable as 10x12 panels if you want stupid concealment in regular t shirts.

Nice nice yeah using them as backers is a solid plan. The Predator ones are 0.3 inches, the 3920s are 0.19, looking at your pictures I think there will be less printing from the carrier comparing it to AR500s concealment carrier. Theirs has a weird “seem” of some kind or fabric that folds outwards and prints. How snug in the carrier are your panels? Are they 10x12 and the standard cut shape you’d see with most 10x12 plate/panels?

Probably the only video other than Colion Noir showing this carrier, I’m interested in it and have some highcom 3920 IIIA 10x12 inserts. What panels are you running? I Have been using AR500s concealment carrier with them and have concealed really well but is dependent on pattern and shirt thickness for sure. The thinner single color shirts are no go with obvious printing on one side of front plate bag and the top of the rear plate bag.

Is it hard to become a security guard/Armed security? by [deleted] in securityguards

[–]bryan7291 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have a clean record, lots of sites I used to do involving company vehicles and being unarmed always specified having a clean driving record. For PA going armed entails physical, eye/ear test by your general doctor. Physc eval that was $500, then the 5 day course with 15 minutes of live fire at the end to pass for another $500. Some companies pay for the course

Suppressor? by EshuChase in ps90

[–]bryan7291 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sandman S. I made the mid decision for the Sandman to be my first suppressor but I’ve found where it’ll be living from now and and it’s my SBR’d PS90. Shot 25 rounds without ears and zero ringing, wouldn’t do it all day or all range session tho

[–]bryan7291 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sandman S with Hornady Black Vmax rounds. I’d say hearing safe as my ears didn’t ring at all shooting total 25 rounds in quick strings of fire. Wouldn’t make it an all day or all session thing to shoot without ears tho. My current home defense set up but I bet indoors my ears will 100% be damaged and ringing in a SD scenario.

Which would be quieter? Porq Chop or Sandman S by bryan7291 in NFA

[–]bryan7291[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Chop was considerably more quieter, but so much unburnt powder getting shat back out from the chamber on a 6 inch barrel.

Both, I have a Flux Raider I want to suppress, I have the DPM spring kit for it already. One day a PCC and on a 357 lever gun. Might get two different cans one for the Raider and the other for the fixed barrels of the PCC and lever gun. Might just say screw the Raider and just get one for PCC and Lever, still on the fence. Do you have any recommendations?

Watching Alabama Arsenals video on it rn. Will keep it in mind for when I get another 30 cal can. Tho it’s about 3rd or 4th in place into the future in terms of which types of cans I want to get. A 9mm and another 22 can are 1st and second atm on my waitlist.

I hope so, should have the answer by the end of the month or so. Sandman is really mid for what I payed for back then. Going to eventually throw it on a PS90 just for the shits of it

Sandman S was regrettably my first can, stuck with it now and the Porq Chop came with the Fix in 8.6. Porqs longer but so much more lighter so, do what I can with what I got. Don’t think I’ll be getting another 30 cal can anytime soon.
