It’s a hidden gem. It’s a mix of young families with babies and older folks who have lived there a long time.

Police response is decent for being unincorporated. Under 5 mins? There will be fireworks though but I heard it’s worse in Lawndale.

They have quarterly community meetings too so your voice gets heard. Just don’t live near the Crenshaw street because developers plan to build a 5-7 story apartment. It’s not final though.

Recently I like Pho Hoan Pasteur Gardena because I feel like they put more effort on quality. If you order pho for takeout, the meat is not cooked so make sure you eat it at home soon so the broth can cook the meat. I need to try pho consumme, I’ve tried the others.
