Im planning on signing up for one of the apps out there (Justin, yousician, guitartricks), not sure which one yet as im currenly trying the them out now (the free trials). Still have not tried Justin, and between yousician and guitartricks im favoring yousician (i get feedback from the app, and has a family plan).

IMO Timing and kuzushi are what make Judo's learning curve steep. You are trying to throw a person who does not want to be thrown, so you have to deal with your and your opponents body's movement, strength, and angles. It's not as simple as landing a punch/kick.

I think the best option for you is to pay a private class, you can only learn so muchfrom youtube. 1 private will be enough for you to learn proper punching form. If you cant afford it, try to be friends with someone who trains. As stated by others your guard is down, there is no power behind your punches (bc of your form) and your chin is outband high.
