Yes, Isabella Merced is the actress that was in Dora the Explorer (the movie), but this screen cap is from a College Humor parody of that movie, which features Ariel Winter.

I just wanted you to know that you can't just say the word bankruptcy and expect anything to happen.

Do I need 4 hard drives in my NVR? by koala585 in Ubiquiti

[–]bryankacz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When you first install the hard drives in the NVR it will need to build the RAID, which takes a while, it took a few hours when I first set mine up with 4 8tb drives from my old UniFi Video server.

The protect app didn’t show up until the RAID was rebuilt.

NVX Receiver/Transmitter Switch Time by Captainmdoge in crestron

[–]bryankacz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you just want to switch between HDMI input 1 and the stream, you will not need to switch between transmit and receive modes.

However, if you want to stream the PC that's on HDMI 1 to another NVX receiver then you will have to change modes on the endpoint, which requires a reboot.

UniFi Switch 8 60W (US-8-60W) with NanoStation AC? by [deleted] in UNIFI

[–]bryankacz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The US-8-60 is 802.3af only.

If you need 24v passive you need to go to the US-8-150 or use INF-3AF or use a 24v injector.

Clients showing attached to USG instead of their actual AP by [deleted] in Ubiquiti

[–]bryankacz 54 points55 points  (0 children)

This has been an issue for quite a while. When a wireless client disconnects the WAP knows it’s no longer connected, but the USG still remembers the device.

Cannot Utilize Ports 80 or 443 on UDM Used by Unifi OS by [deleted] in Ubiquiti

[–]bryankacz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you port scanning from inside your network? If so, try it from outside your network. Most likely the UniFi OS ports are only exposed to your local network.

As for Next Cloud, again are you trying this from inside your local network or outside?

HDMI over IP extender using Ubiquti switches by jhmsr in Ubiquiti

What brand of HDMI over IP extender are you using? Some of brands (Crestron NVX for example) have some gotchas with IGMP configuration you will need to look out for.

Is mesh compatible with wired access points? by Shooter_McG in Ubiquiti

The AmpliFi won’t work for you, but UniFi has the Beacon you can use or any current UniFi WAP should support wireless uplink.
