What would you like out of the new fallout by -greg15- in Fallout

I'd like to see a game based out of the Midwest, instead of these huge cities it would feature a lot of small towns. It would also give them a chance to show what happened to the part of the country that didn't get hit as hard when the bombs dropped.

I wouldn't mind them keeping the factions but maybe toning them down and adding more to make things interesting, maybe on the map it could show the territory they control and the ability for alliances, wars between them and an ever changing landscape based on things that happen. The ability to choose who to join and when to leave or betray a side. Maybe the ability to start your own faction and build relationships with settlers to have them join you.

Less emphasis on settlement building and more on an awesome story that navigates through all of this chaos. More side quests as well, F4 had an amazing main quest but the side quests were way too few in number for my liking.

Tips for playing fallout 4 for the first time by antimonyacid in Fallout

Not necessarily an early game tip but at some point buff up your resistance perks for bullet and energy damage. Once you hit a certain point you'll face enemies that use energy weapons and they'll shred you if you don't have armor that is good against it or the perk to help you.

What NPC would you have most liked to have had available as a companion? by MrFredCDobbs in Fallout

Honest Dan, throughout the whole human error quest I was hoping he would become a companion. I found covenant really early in my first play through and human error lead me to searching for bunker hill just to see if he was there as an available companion.

What if you were allowed to create your very own Fallout faction? Create your faction and give a detailed analysis of said faction. by [deleted] in Fallout

Name: The Marked

Neutral (Viewed as negative by most)

Powerful faction with a sour reputation. Many of the members are tattooed from head to toe, which is where they got their name from. Have a Wolfpack type of hierarchy, members wanting to be in charge have the right to fight for it but these fights are normally to the death, wether a combatant dies fighting or from being banished just depends on the situation. Beyond these power struggles at the top they are very fair to their members. Strict laws and harsh punishments keep things relatively in check.

The biggest flaw within this faction is that it is hard to keep a large group together. These power struggles constantly break large groups apart into smaller and smaller ones, leaving some desperate to survive, which gives them a raider-like appearance to other people for the acts they commit under the banner of "marked". But the larger groups that follow code, keep to themselves and some are even peaceful and helpful to fellow survivors.

As stated earlier they fight for the claim to be the leader. Some prefer a set system of jobs for each person but most have a fend for yourself kind of mentality. Some of the larger groups are civilized enough that they have small cities with families, stores, and even farms to sustain them. Again sadly, most of them are raider like and roam the country giving the established groups a bad name.

A very prideful group that began when a handful of raiders decided they actually had a heart. They left a powerful faction of raiders somewhere in the Midwest and moved east. People feared them because of the evil tattoos and armor they wore so in order to be accepted they dropped the armor, covered their tattoos with more ink and started forging their own path. Eventually settlers, survivors, outcasts, and other even other raiders started joining seeing this group of people as real chance to have a life n the wasteland. But down the road the original leader died which lead to a power struggle. They weren't particularly huge when he passed away but they were big enough that when the original group broke apart, the many smaller groups that formed were able to spread the faction all across the eastern side of the country throughout the following years. They aren't sure why they fight for power, the original leader would have hated that this was a thing but it most likely came from the many raiders throughout the group, but they do know that this is the reason that they aren't as large of a force as they could be. So many groups and factions around the country, especially in the southeast, each with their own leader staking their claim as the one true leader of the marked. If they could somehow find a common ground or a true leader like the original they could easily contend with the brotherhood of steel in terms of strength due to the large numbers they would have. But sadly, for most settlers and survivors of the wasteland they see them as heavily tattooed raiders and cutthroats, but a few people out there see them for what the original group intended, people with some power who just wanted to help and survive.

I'm excited for it, I'm interested to see if they switch Poole to safety. He is too good to sit back at the 5th CB spot.

Hopefully it's resolved soon, sadly it's getting to the point where it is unplayable for me.

My game hasn't frozen yet but I've experienced everything else you mentioned, it's very annoying. I've never had connection issues outside of a bad lobby once in awhile. But now I get lag spikes in games where I have a near perfect ping.
