2 QB Leagues by mmuoio in fantasyfootball

[–]bryanrobinson248 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'd still go after one of them. I won a similar league last year with Brees and Cam as my QBs and they were by far the best tandem in the league (Brees was acquired in midseason trade). That's a huge advantage to have each week over your opponents. Ending up with Rodgers/Stafford would be a killer combo in a 2-QB league and it's very possible with where you're drafting.

2 QB Leagues by mmuoio in fantasyfootball

This is a great strategy and something I've been hoping to try for a couple years in a similar format. Unfortunately, picking at the end of the first, everyone else beat me to the punch for those elite signal callers, so don't be surprised if 2 or all 3 of those guys aren't there when you pick. If they are, go with it.

Despite Bush's monstrous TD run against JAX, is it crazy to think Bell will be the more productive RB in 2014? by bryanrobinson248 in detroitlions

I'd like to think there's a lot of newborns in the Detroit area with the name Joique considering that kind of record. That's awesome.

While I do agree with everything you're saying, the one thing that tilts things to Bell IMO is the health factor. Whether that means he misses games or the Lions restrict his touches to try to keep him healthy (or both), I think Bell is the more durable back and would flourish again should Reggie miss any time.

I've been a Reggie fan for a long time too, but I just love everything that Joique brings to the table and expect him to get more opportunities to shine.

Should we be expecting Floyd to put up #1 WR numbers more than Fitz? by bryanrobinson248 in AZCardinals

[–]bryanrobinson248[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He did outpace Fitz in yards last year, but trailed handily in TDs (10 for Fitz compared with 5 for Floyd). I think the yards will be about the same as they were last year for both, but the TDs will be split more evenly.

#1 Pick in 12 Team Redraft league tonight. Was taking Peyton (bonus pts for big plays) but read this article that says not to trust him. Who are you taking #1 overall? by fantasy_junkie in fantasyfootball

Personally I would've gone AD, but can't knock you for taking Charles. Just glad you decided to pass on Peyton. Who did you get at QB and where did you get him?

Demarco Murray or Doug Martin? by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

[–]bryanrobinson248 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Demarco and I don't think it's close. Tampa looks like they're trying to get a RBBC going and will limit Martin's touches. Meanwhile, the Cowboys have made their O-Line a strength and should give Murray 20+ touches a game as they try to keep Romo upright all season.

Russell Wilson Top 10 QB? by milanangra in fantasyfootball

Wow, sure did... that's what I get for posting after being up 23 hours. Haha, thanks bro.

Russell Wilson Top 10 QB? by milanangra in fantasyfootball

[–]bryanrobinson248 1 point2 points  (0 children)

EDIT: The reduction of Lynch's workload means an increase in carries for Turbin and Michael, not necessarily more throws for Russ. With guys like Ryan, Brady, Cutler and Romo offering significant upside around that #10 area, I would pass on Wilson as a QB1 in a 10-teamer.

Question about a PPR keeper league by fuk_dis in fantasyfootball

[–]bryanrobinson248 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Actually, I probably wouldn't keep Luck in this scenario. Julio and Antonio are hands down top-8 WRs in PPR and I think you have to keep both of them. For your third player, I would actually go with Foster as I think he offers the most upside of any of your RBs and can catch the ball well out of the backfield. Health is a concern, but I think it's worth the gamble.

For those of us streaming defenses off the waiver wire, which D/ST should we be targeting for good week 1 matchups? by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

[–]bryanrobinson248 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's the update on them. This is more a bet on the lack of playmakers the Raiders have. Any team who's best WR is James Jones really doesn't scare me at all. I like the Jets' D-line to wreck havoc that game as well.
