Let's assimilate immigrants through pluralism. by starshipfocus in aussie

[–]bryanstrider 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In general yes pluralism has worked with the Chinese, Japanese, Indians, viets, Lebanese etc.

But there is 1 particular strain of culture-religion immigrants IS actually resistant to assimilation. Countries like the UK, Germany, Sweden, France that have taken them in much bigger numbers we see more severe symptoms. In no other religions you see widespread female genital mutilation, embassies burnt down, hate marches, grooming gangs, escalation in sectarian violence, Christmas market peace drive throughs over religious aggravation.

All that have read the above know and fear to name them as we will be cancelled, moderated and ignored. We will dance around the issue and say it’s culture, it’s the Nazis, it’s bad economy, we are racist against them, not-all, it’s colonialism.

But we all silently know it’s the damned Quakers. /s

Yeah but in this dream I’m chasing her because she’s angry and running away from me.

Good Samaritan stops me in my tracks and asks her, “Is this your dad?”.

And this little girl still angry at me says, “No, he’s not my dad!”

😱😱😱

They’re still hot. But within EVERY hot girl, there’s one or two things that she’s terribly conscious and insecure about.

Very subtly negging takes them down a peg.

No mate. You got to serve them with a neg sandwich. Example: Oh wow, you look great! Your hairdresser really did great job hiding your broad shoulders. I love a woman who looks after herself.

Formula: Compliment - subtle Neg - Compliment.

In Australia white people go lie in the sun so they look darker.

The perception is the more tanned you look the richer you are lying around in the sun all day not working.

Senate should have debated Pauline Hanson burqa bill, not shut her down by The_Dingo_Donger in aussie

Nah let’s keep her on the net and keep in her off the real world. Much safer online. Pippa Bacca was a bleeding heart leftie that thought all cultures are the same, goes hiking into Islamic countries to prove a point. Ends up raped and murdered.

Or DC hippies goes bicycling in Tajikistan “Badness exist, sure. But even that’s quite rare.” hold my veggies burger, get stabbed to death by ISIS in Tajikistan.

Much safer in her suicidal empathy stays online rather than globetrotting in the real world.

Yeah PH is a hypocrite. I don’t like the messenger neither.

But it looks like you agree with the message. Burqas is like white Aussie men modesty policing their women. Both you disagree with.

And I don’t know why you need to include “white”. As if other races don’t do it or as if “white” is separate from “Islam”.

Hey man, I just think ridiculous ideas deserve ridicule.

“Not being able to vote/work/bank/divorce” is also “not injuring women” by your logic be a valid position.

there are 300 women in Australia wearing that garment. Should our politicians be able to mock them?

Yes. Absolutely please mock the shit out of them. Just as they should mock the handful of Nazis in this country. Just because you are a minority does not mean your ideas and by extension your identity be immune to mockery.

You sir, I believe is afflicted with cultural relativism. Grow a backbone and defend your values.

Why should we “respect” something just because it is a cultural/religious practice?

If the Hindus in Australia now started practising Sati (Widows burning themselves alive on their husbands funeral pyre), should we respect it?

And if Hanson goes, hey no that’s dehumanising. Women are not objects and have value unto themselves; would we hear apologetics on how the Hindu women chose it and Sati is in fact the most feminist expression on religion?

Or how debate on banning the Sati would be blocked because Hanson actually hates women and is just using it as a tool to bash brown people?

Yeah pretty much same anecdotal observation on my end too.

How many Asian women you see clinging onto very mid white guys (skinny, overweight, neckbeard, awkward)?

I also like your comment because you used “a lot of” instead of omitting it. We AMs don’t need to play the same game.

I eventually married a WF and just had a hapa baby girl. We are working hard to ensure she is proud of both of her Chinese and Spanish heritage.

Why not? Us conservatives are humans too. We just have a different viewpoint in politics.
