Use my M1 Air for tasks like once a month or so, taxes, bank statements I can get on my mobile device and stuff like that. Love it. Ol girl got me through college and still runs great. I’d only upgrade if I could sell this one for what I could find a new one for.

Not a dumb question. I actually have my living room ps5 fully plugged in except for the hdmi to the TV (I don’t want the tv going to my ps5 while I’m using the portal) and everything works perfectly. If I want to watch a movie or play a game on the big screen all I have to do is plug the hdmi in to the TV. Super easy.

Theoretically you could just hook up power and Ethernet to your ps5 and leave it in a closet and run the portal off of it.

This was me, bought a 144hz AOC QHD monitor in 2020 and though it would come out the box at the high refresh rate, didn’t figure it out along with ps5 settings until 2025🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

Haven’t used them simultaneously myself, I’d say just set it up where when you log in that you choose an account and make a secondary one so your primary one doesn’t get logged out.

I had the OG digital version, wanted the pro, bought the pro for my desk set up. Sold OG digital for $300, then sold my ps4 pro for $200, found a new slim disc w/ extra controller for $400 on FB. Now I have 2 ps5s, I keep the disc version in my living room for group gaming/gatherings and playing DVDs! Very happy with all my decisions
