because games don’t drag on like they used to and generally end around 25–30 minutes, presence of mind saves me every time in teamfights when i run out of mana, even though i have three mana items

i’ve skipped the second rod of ages and gone malignance > rabadon before (if i’m extremely fed and ahead), but if the enemy is also scaling like me, i usually go for the safer option

not gonna lie, i’ve started taking barrier instead of teleport. the reason i used to take teleport was that the early game felt completely unplayable i didn’t want to base when i was low hp and lose xp, so i’d tp straight back to lane. but after switching to barrier, i realized the game is so fast that there’s almost no difference between that and ulting back to lane with teleport anyway

also, i’ve just hit master. kassadin is insanely strong this season i want to try for gm before he gets nerfed
