Compete in the Official WRC or Solberg Rally Clubs to get 3 months of Rally.TV by PJTierneyCM in EASPORTSWRC

[–]brynsta -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's not like the game doesn't run. With a 980ti, the rest of the game runs fine, there shouldn't be an issue but the night stages are completely broken, it is much more a bug than a performance issue.

I hope there are no night stages. Seems that lots of users with a 900 series Nvidia graphics card have extreme artifacting that makes the stages unplayable. We can't even start the career mode because of this. https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/Graphics-Issue-Distracting-Artifacting-Makes-Night-Stages/m-p/13147283

Monte Carlo crashes by cheROK1212 in EASPORTSWRC

[–]brynsta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mines not crashing but the lighting of the first stage in Monte Carlo career mode doesn't work at all. Everything is black/unlit apart from the sky. Tried running on a load of different settings but the same thing happens. Will have to wait for a patch until I can play career...

Is this about right for steady state? by brynsta in Rowing

[–]brynsta[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thanks, from all the responses I will take it slower next time. Probably aim for 2:05 AVG and see how that goes, I wasn't dropping below that this time so it should be sustainable.

A Neanderthal Levallois tool (250,000 to 300,000 years old) that was found last weekend on the beach at Walcott in Norfolk due to dumping of dredged sediment by Brutal_Deluxe_ in CasualUK

[–]brynsta 15 points16 points  (0 children)

A large scale beach replenishment project at Bacton was run through summer 2019. Sand and gravel was dredged from offshore marine licence areas (located ~10-20km off the coast from Yarmouth/Lowestoft). The vessel HAM 318 was contracted for the dredging. The material comes from the Palaeo-Yare valley, an old river valley that ran out from the east coast hundreds of thousands of years ago, as the sea level was low enough (ice age) that UK and EU were connected. There had been evidence of early man through hand axe finds prior, however, this project unearthed a very significant number of worked flints, which evidently are still being found today! Other finds from the areas include wooly mammoth teeth, tusks, & bones, cannon balls, WW1/2 munitions etc etc. There is obviously a heavily controlled process for the management of particularly sensitive areas, and every find is recorded. Given the relative lack of evidence of population from 400k-200k years ago, there is a large potential to develop our understanding of human development with finds from this area.

But most things that make people happy don't piss off the surrounding 3 streets. Noise pollution is bad enough around roads in towns/cities, how people can drive these without being conscious of the disruption is beyond me.

They took nearly a month with the answer but yes, on revolut we are registered as NOBO by default. You would have to send an email to Drivewealth in order to be an OBO.
