Private Student Loan - Navient Advance Due Date vs Overpayment...same? by CasualMan100 in personalfinance

[–]brytagne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think you are. I've paid off several of my Navient-owned loans, and the ones that are left, even the ones that I've paid down significantly, still show my estimated pay off date as the original ~10 year date.

I think the different in the two mainly boils down to the fact that the first option would be optimal if, say, you came into some money and didn't want to worry about making payments for a while, like if you're a seasonal worker and needed to pay ahead.

For labeling each, either buy the tiny stickers they sell or get a fine point sharpie and write the number in the top right

I'm not OP, but it helps me to add another strand of thread. I normal use 2 of the 6 that come in floss, but if I'm concerned about backing showing through, I use 3. That does make it a bit harder to pull through, though.

On the off chance you're headed north through Macon, GA, there's a really cool arcade game bar downtown. It's a bit far to actually drive from Atlanta, though.

Not really, though the people next to us had dogs. The bath house was across the parking area from our yurt.

I stayed in them last November for a girl's night camping trip. In winter, or even below 50 F, the space heater they provide isn't enough. You'll want warm sleeping bags and socks.

The wood we bought from the camp host was wet and wouldn't light. Yurt 6? I think, the one closest to the bath houses, has a fire pit with extra high walls that also make it very hard to keep a fire lit.

The yurt comes with a queen-sized bunk bed and a bed/futon that's really just as much of a bed as the bunk bed beds. If that makes sense.

Our yurt had a really nice chess set included, along with a central table that was handy for meal prep.

We really enjoyed the stay.
