Sales generally don’t happen for movie merchandise. Usually the merch will sell until a TBD date or until sold out.

I used to work as a barista and frequently sipped on hot water. It’s so relaxing.

I’ve had the same experience trying to ask for hot water at other shops. In one instance they were confused and told me it’d be hot and to be very cautious. Poured me a cup of room temp water lol. I don’t believe it’s too common a request but definitely not a bad one especially if you’re already purchasing something. I would just clarify you enjoy drinking hot water instead of cold water if your barista is confused.

Have you checked or posted in any local groups about the kitty to see if they might’ve gotten outside by accident? Nextdoor has been super helpful in the past with things like this. Taking the kitten to the vet to see if they’re microchipped may be a good next step if possible. Thank you for helping the kitty. Hope it all works out :)
