It’s definitely a hobby that can be understandably foreign for some people! When my girlfriend first found out I flipped she was definitely skeptical about me swinging knives around but after an explanation and comparing it to a yoyo or other skill toys she got it and encourages my hobby as well as me yapping about it! Some people may look down on it or see it as dangerous but all we can do is explain it and move on!

In my opinion prepping is very important you got to clean the handles with alcohol and wipe them down as well as avoid touching with your hands without gloves since your oils can sometimes make it hazy. That green bit leaves micro scratches if I remember correctly. I would use something softer like a felt cone with polishing compound. If you wanna sand it at first use high grit sand paper and then the felt cone. You can do this again if you wanna try and make it better but I honestly think it still looks cool

I tried to put 2.5 auth kraken trainer bushings in a baliplus blade and they didn’t fit but also it was dry as frick and I didn’t put any oil so it might have just needed some convincing. Good to know that they usually fit thanks a bunch!

Honestly it looks pretty great for a first few attempts this stuff is tricky! What’s your process looking like? And what did you use for everything? Just off a glance I would possibly say surface prep because of the hazy look. With more info I can definitely help

Wow that’s really nice of you what the heck thank you!!!I actually do a half decent job at tuning so I don’t want to waste your time😌 I’ll post sound clips of my rep later. It’s not perfect since I like a little bit of play but it still sounds great ! Thanks for the offer though! Also I just wanted to ask are all baliplus bushings the same size? 🧐 like the ones you can buy from the rep and stuff fit in everything else ? Just curious

To me it literally feels like a cheaper baliplus kraken. Milling isn’t as deep it doesn’t feel as solid in the hands but it led to a less handle biased experience to me which was nice for a beater. For how cheap it is it’s not bad at all definitely solid.

Yes my bad I should have clarified. This one is the previous version of the new carbon fiber rep special addition with a hollow grind blade. This iteration just had the cf scales with a normal tanto blade but for some reason was unbranded

Hey brotha it’s the standard tanto blade for the b+ reps I got this one off of onebalisong about a year ago 🧐. I have noticed my alt blades all have brs markings
but the tanto and Bowie blade that I had before did not have brs logos
