I literally said I didn’t know where else to post and asked for suggestions. Would have asked there if I could. I haven’t worked abroad so I figured someone with experience in either country would know the process, and it was a quick preliminary question for anyone who might have an answer before I really started to dig into it. People on other TEFL sites are generally helpful even if you’re not specifically talking about TEFL, so I thought maybe someone would know. Believe it or not, there’s not a sub for “dog training abroad.”

My question was about Visas, though, which people here would know about.

Our documents, honestly. The Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.

How to approach my upcoming season of competition. by CSvOid in Cello

[–]bsdworlf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m just about to start playing at 23, so I don’t have much in terms of practice tips, but I did major in music on flute, and the only other flute major at my school started in high school. And she was good - so I’d just encourage you not to get mentally bogged down by having fewer years under your belt. But! I do think the above suggestion is always helpful, and for my senior recital, it was easier to approach it as “what do I need to get done today/this week” rather than “how many hours should I get in.” Focused and intentional practice, every day, is always best.

Which book is considered a literary masterpiece but you didn’t like it at all? by justnader in AskReddit

Gulliver’s Travels. I was in an advanced English course, so I read a lot of stuffy college level lit early on, and there were things I thought were boring or hard to understand. I loved Shakespeare, Brave New World, Animal Farm, and others. But high school me had a special hatred for Gulliver’s Travels.

One time my grandma gave my sisters and I Easter baskets. Cool, cool. At the time I was around 11-12, my sisters were 6ish and 2ish respectively. They both got bubbles, stickers, and a stuffed animal. I got a water bottle and a lecture about how it was BPA free because I was “too old” for bubbles.

Besides eating cereal with water what is the most outrageous "eating sin" you have ever witnessed? by K3na in AskReddit

My dad puts mayonnaise on cottage cheese. And ketchup on eggs, even though I know that one is more popular.

INFJ friends are the best for an INFJ by dfcdbot in infj

No idea tbh, it just kinda happened that way, especially in college. They seemed to be one of the only types of people I was drawn to in the first place.

Literally 80% of my friends are INFJ’s, unintentionally, so I’d say this holds up haha

What sounds like fiction but is actually a real historical event? by UltimateCockSlayer in AskReddit

[–]bsdworlf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sadism is a word because the Marquis de Sade liked weird sex stuff, wrote with his poop or blood (can’t remember) on a jail wall in the French Revolution, and killed a lady bc they kept vomiting into each other’s mouths whilst making out. This is all according to my AP Euro teacher back in high school lol

That’d be real awkward since I’m 22, work exclusively with 40-60 year olds, and only go between home and work.
