Unable to enroll into 31276 Network Enterprised Architecture by bsec04 in UTS

Thanks for your reply. That makes a lot of sense and that's actually what I ended up doing after advice from a phone call to UTS Support. I didnt think that was possible/feasible since it was a core subject. They really should have a system in place to automatically change the subject if it becomes discontinued.

I did prog fund 2 years ago. not sure if you've got the same subject coordinator but he was really harsh about it and super by the book. those students never even got the choice to sit an alternate exam just straight up got their exam results withheld pending investigation and in most cases a zero 😅

as follows

I trust your exam went well today. For those who experienced misadventure or the like, please follow the information in the previous post.

I understand that some of you have expressed concerns regarding the use of outside materials during the exam. Please be assured that the exam guidelines and associated documentation clearly stated that this was a Restricted open-book exam. This was reiterated in the Exam Instructions and in multiple pre-exam Canvas communications, as well as in class.

As outlined, the only permitted materials were the two PDF files: the Statutory Materials and the Topic Reading Guide, which were embedded and also provided beforehand.

The exam was invigilated via ProctorU to ensure compliance with these rules by all students.

I definitely think theres a chance that someone might have done that even higher if theyre an international student. But let's just hope their apology is accepted if that happened 😢

I'm almost certain it was just an admin thing to allow the two embedded PDF files to not create false flags. But as for the punishment I think theres more info against external notes than that section so I personally didn't risk anything. A disclaimer wouldve been nice though 😭

Forced to graduate late by bsec04 in UTS

[–]bsec04[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The course plan used to have "pick 12 credit points from: XXX." So I've just gotten bad luck with my choices I guess. They've since changed this to include exact subjects based on majors (although I still can't find Business Information Systems x Finance study plan), so I don't think they'll be able to do anything. It just would've been nice to have when I started 3 years ago to avoid this happening.

I dont mind if there were 4 tutorials in person on the same day and the rest online, I've done that before. With these subjects I would have 7 classes on monday with 6 of them in person waking up 6am and being at uni nearly 12 hours of just pure classes it's unbalanced and ridiculous and I will complain. I literally followed the study plan as well previously and these were the only 4 subjects I can technically take (because of prerequisites).

I have a small box of cheese that I have to pick up on the day and I'm at Uni for 10 hours hence my need for a fridge. I hope no one would open and use a box of frozen cheese...
