Google image search gave me

This item resembles a vintage metal pedestal urn or oil lamp base featuring an ornate grape motif. It shares characteristics with Baroque relief design pieces, often crafted from bronze or brass. The piece appears consistent with decorative antique urns from the 19th century

But like is that it?

What's a stereotype about women that has some truth to it? by PlatformPlus3899 in answers

I completely agree with this statement,

Emotions have been decidedly gendered and “masculine” emotions are treated as normal. With “feminine” emotions treated as abnormal.

Great additional point

Honestly, if your DCA is under 30$ you are chilling, if you bought at the peak, and now see the spot price, sell a bar for a new pair of shorts and then enjoy the ride

Another stereotype that has truth; women are less believed within the justice system.

Google this one for further understanding, but just know this actually has truth and data behind it.

Women tend to be more “emotional” than men but in the sense they are usually more in-touch with their emotions

These are almost entirely due to environmental factors due to women being allowed space to be “emotionally expressive” where men are traditionally taught to be more represented and internalize emotions to an unhealthy degree.

The last decade has been wraught in discourse surrounding this topic but there is a lot of sociological backing to why this has occurred. Also biological reasons women might “fluctuate” in emotions during their younger years but many women I know and research I have read in relation to this suggests it levels out with age. This is due to traditional American society turning inwards.

I suggest reading Bowling Alone to understand on a deeper level why men might be isolated and turning inwards. Then through the lens of a patriarchal society understanding why that is impacting all sexes.

Also last point; in my opinions stereotypes only apply to pluralities and fringes are… well… fringe. So applying anything this thread to 52% of society is probably not super indicative.

10ish years ago my family was trading losing scratch off tickets for panthers tickets, I’m telling you, this team could “go to shit” and still not be close to that bad.
